I need to rewatch the actual board play and also from a different angle (from what I saw it looked like a clear fold action) but that seemed to me like some real bullshit.
it didn't feel like an intentional angle when i saw it but how hard would it have been to just take it all back and move on. it's not like he's there to take money off these recs knowing the exposure they have, he probably got paid $$$$ for his aria and flatinum sponsors in that appearance.
i'd take this as a fold but apprently he was showing Durr his cards. why would you do it that way?

Here is the Helmuth v Mr. Slime “fold” hand. Not only does he push his cards over the line but it’s his action and speech immediately after apparently asking to show his hand that is particularly scumbaggy. This is particularly bad form against rec players on a stream intentionally created to broaden the audience spectrum of poker. Opinions?
On the other hand, Dwan is drinking beers and enjoying himself like I have never seen. Almost like he is actually having fun. At least he gets it and can read the room, unlike Phil.

Someone on twitter mentioned that Dwan was asking to see Hellmuths hand, so Hellmuth was pushing his cards TO Dwan, not to muck them, and then Dwan pushed them back.
From the viewers angle it certainly does look like a fold and then like Hellmuth is trying to show his folded hand and get his opponent to show the bluff.
Whatever the case, it was nice to see some Black Magic in effect and Hellmuth losing that one lol

No, it gets uglier. Phil charged him $5k to take back his all-in and let Phil have the hand if I am not mistaken. Then they just ask to see the run out anyway and Mr Slime would have won. But instead Phil charged him $5k on top of the pre-all-in pot when he would have actually won. Watch the hand again and watch the chips get shipped to Phil at the end. Or did I get that wrong. It’s kind of confusing what happens there after that point but Phil definitely gets shipped chips despite what the graphics on the screen say.
Yeah he did give his cards to Dwan but he still pushed them over the line. But he also appears after that to motion for Mr Slime to flip over his cards as well. I would need to see a better angle but it looked like a fold regardless and could arguably be called a fold if the floor came over. It confused the commentators as well. It was just an ugly situation altogether.
But no worries Phil gets salty later on after loosing some hands and Dwan laughs his ass off at Phil.

I watched a bit of this for shits and giggles. I also thought Phil's fake fold whatever was bad. His antics here seem forced, I hate that shit. That Ludwig dude is super obnoxious. Never heard of any of these kids except Ninja. Alexandria is very cute. Alan is the loosest player I've ever seen.

Clear angle by PH IMO. The above video shows him mucking his cards, and even the announcer called it a fold. That was not a “show my hand to get a read” action.
