Hi! I'm twocees from Maryland. I just started playing Poker last week after hearing so much about it from one of my long-time mentors. As a side project, I was looking into getting some motivational chips made as a cheaper alternative to challenge coins to give to the people that work for me. I came across this forum from Reddit while looking into that. Lucky I did because I was sure that with all my CNC and 3D printing equipment I could have made my own, but I see now that is not the case. Its been fun looking at the custom sets here and it makes me think that one day, when I don't suck, I might make my own custom set for hosting home games. I still haven't physically touched a chip, and I'm not sure when I will work up the nerve. Maybe I should set a date to go to a casino in a few months when I've studied a bit more? Anyways, I'm happy to be here and learn from you all.

Check out world tavern poker , there are free poker games running all the time in Nova , probably MD too.

Wow thanks for this! They have quite a few spots near me and I didn't know there was anything like it. I have been only playing in crunmy online games (Pokerstar) and don't feel like I'm getting any better because nothing anyone does is predictable at all.

Go and try a few out, crowd in NOVA is generally nice and friendly.
