Cash Game How to run Dealer’s Choice/Mixed Games? (4 Viewers)

Would my plan to play all games as fixed limit hopefully help address this scenario?
Yes, I would think it would certainly help - that game I mentioned was all big bet games, I believe.
I'm paying attention here because I'd like to get more games going than just NLHE, but I'm not sure how my crew would take it. And part of me would feel like I was just stealing their money, because I can handle myself in most games and most of them have never played anything except NLHE.

But I do wonder if your guys are going to get frustrated, because it sounds like some of them haven't played anything besides holdem (like my crew.) They can pick up O8 easy enough - they might get crushed, but they'll get the mechanics of it. Stud games are a whole different beast, with antes and bring ins and 5 streets of betting. And then to teach them a draw game on top of that? It just seems like a lot to me, in one night, if half that group are holdem only players. But if you've got the right group of guys, maybe it will work out great.
Again, keep us updated.

First I was skeptical when you thought I might be getting ambitious. Your spelling it out this clearly has me agreeing with you - perhaps I'm getting a bit ahead of myself. I'll think about it for sure. Great points, and well made, sir.

My standard 4 game rotation is:

Hollywood8. (2 down 1 up card to start) hi/lo 8 qualifier can use all 3 hole cards to make best hand

Double board Omaha (hi only)

Drawmaha (A-5) but other versions are fine too.

SOHE.

This mix, other than Drawmaha isn’t too crazy for anyone that has at least played Omaha.

I play in my home only 6 games and only in Pot Limit.

I prefer to have colored DB's simpler to recognize them.
