Bought in 30k and lost it all..

Bought in 10k
Re-invested 20k
..and i suppose teddy kgb ”reloaded“ once or multiple times, since mike had paid all his debt at the end, and still had ”3 stacks of high society“

values
25
100
500
^i think is correct

I suppose every stack has about 20 pcs in it.
How many stacks did he have of each of the values at the different stages of the game ??

Thanks, any comment helps!

Go watch the movie and come back with a report on it.

I remember a fairly lengthy discussion about it here on PCF where the scenes were analyzed and chip counts were estimated. I also remember some discrepancy and a following discussion. I looked but cannot find it.

Watch this clip, particularly starting from 3min mark.
  • There appears to be $400 in the pot before the flop.
  • Teddy bets $2k in $100 chips.
  • Mike (Damon) calls. Checks the turn. Teddy bets the pot. Mike (Damon) correctly says the bet is $4400 and calls. So now there is $13,200 in the pot.
  • Mike checks the river. Teddy goes all in. Mike calls and takes the pot. Game over.
There is a key moment at 3min and 21seconds when we get a clear shot of Teddy's stacks. He appears to still have 3 stacks of $100, 2 of $25 and 2 of $500, so (if those are full stacks) $27k. This is right AFTER he bets $2k after the flop. So, since we know the pre-flop was $400, then he bet $2k, and he still had $27k in reserve, he is all in at the end for $29,200 $29,400. And Mike has him covered, so there is $58,400 $58,800 in the pot. Someone please check my math! (EDITED to fix how much was in the pot at end. If $400 is in the pot pre-flop, then Teddy's contribution was $200. I assume BB was $200, Mike called, and Teddy checked).

But again, how much was on the table? Not clear how much Mike still had in reserve. Hard to see his chips and he is hiding his $500 chips behind his $25s.

But I would say at least $60k. Maybe $80k?

Here is screenshot of Teddy's stacks after the $2k bet at 3min 21second:

Those numbers match the chips at the table. It was $60k. Mike (Damon) just barely had Teddy covered. It's been a while since I've seen the movie so I forgot that Teddy had reloaded twice and it was the third time Mike busted him that night.
