Maybe I’m misunderstanding the term tilt.
To me it has always been that tilt means you’re frustrated, chasing losses, and making decisions based on anger instead of logic.
But can tilt also go the other way? Not “I’m mad and punting chips,” but “My hand is huge, your hand is garbage, and I’m about to demonstrate superior poker knowledge.”
After reviewing some recent hands, i wasnt angry. I may have simply believed I was the main character and mine was bigger and I could use it better (at least that's what his wife says).
So what’s the consensus? Is tilt only anger and frustration, or does overconfidence and ego qualify too?
Asking for a friend.

Yes. Tilt is when any emotion - good or bad - causes you to play suboptimally.

And yes, +1 that winner's tilt is a thing. Been there.
You're telling me I'm not a poker god when I double up multiple times by suckering out on the river when I have less than 20% equity each time?

You're not a poker god, but I'm pretty sure you play in my home game.
