Maybe I’m misunderstanding the term tilt.
To me it has always been that tilt means you’re frustrated, chasing losses, and making decisions based on annger instead of logic.
But can tilt also go the other way? Not “I’m mad and punting chips,” but “My hand is huge, your hand is garbage, and I’m about to demonstrate superior poker knowledge.”
After reviewing some recent hands, i wasnt angry. I may have simply believed I was the main character and mine was bigger and I could use it better (at least that's what his wife says).
So what’s the consensus? Is tilt only anger and frustration, or does overconfidence and ego qualify too?
Asking for a friend.

Tilt is specifically emotions throwing you off your game either way. Winners tilt is a thing too after you grab a few big pots.

I dont call ego plays tilt, that's just a leak in your game. Fancy play syndrome.
