Tourney How do bounty chips affect gameplay? (1 Viewer)

Ah so bounty chips are normally custom ceramics?

Some definitely are, and they are gorgeous.

But they don't have to be ceramic, and just to prove it I'll post two of my favorite bounty chips ever, though there are many others that could be posted. :D @Redbelly and @Phantom both have bounty chips in their sets that I love for so many different reasons, from the colors to the execution of the theme to the tie in with the sets to the originality and craftsmanship these are two of my favorite chips ever...

(no clue who I stole these pictures from, all credit goes to the victim of my theft)

Anyone thought to have two different bounty chips makes and run a PSKO?

I love those tourneys and think it would be cool in a live game, just not sure if there is a cutoff point where having only x amount of players would make the game play pretty much the same as a regular bounty tournament

PSKO?

There are obviously many ways to do bounties. Our group likes 2-3 bounty tournaments a year (we play 13x a year). One of our bounty tournaments has special rules where only one person can win a player's bounty. For that tournament, we use their seating chip as the bounty chip. For the other 1-2, I don't use bounty chips because bounties could be split between 2, 3, or 4 players, even thought a split bounty is rare. I've thought of getting bounty chips, but I have chip sets I'm not using that aren't denominated, and I have used one of those chips for bounties -- one that isn't similar to any of the chips in play.

Bottom line: If you could dream it up, you could find a way to do it.

I'd never seen the "You are now free to move about the Cardroom"' before - that is pure brilliance, love it.

I remember seeing it on his chip Pron and agree that it is brilliant.

My take on Bounties: I host one bounty tournament a year, on New Years Day. $300 buy-in of which $50 is the bounty. My players have occasionally requested bounties on my regular monthly tournament. I have held off mostly because it increases the workload on the host (me), and I'm lazy. However, I included a bounty chip with my lastest CPC order, so we may start having bounties more often.

BTW where are you getting the oversized octagon ceramics?

Guys what's the right size for a bounty chip?

CPC sells Sun-Fly blanks, same as OWPS.

After seeing all this hawt Bounty Pr0n, I need the quicker picker-upper:

The Blades '007' is 39mm (CPC), while the Casino Royale is 46mm (OWPS).
