Looking for a few racks of the 8 spot snappers. Willing to overpay with cash.

Would also be willing to trade some of my 1k, 5k, or 25k chips for them if that interests you more, depending on quantities.

Also willing to trade 2 racks of tri moon snappers for 3 racks of 8 spot.

Thanks!

Seeing @bergs limit set of these would make me want to get them as well, but I have a feeling he got most of what was made available in the pre sale.

That was some serious wheeling and dealing to get that many, well done sir!

Good luck with the hunt @RainmanTrail.

I haven't seen his limit set. How many does he have?

Have you tried Apache? He was selling them for $1.25 a chip. I bought 2 racks last week.

look under his "primary Horseshoe chips" link and click the regular set.

Good luck. Wish I could help you. I only have one rack of the tri moon chips. Hopefully someone will sell you a rack at a decent price

I played in the inaugural game at berg's with the pink chips. As many as he has (and I have no idea the total count), he barely supported 2 6-handed tables. I know he's on the hunt for more.

I bought in for 4 racks when I first got there, and had to make change for people as the second table opened. Which was fine, the green $25s were pretty sweet, and the hundos are gorgeous.

Doesn't he already have 1700+ of these? How many does one guy need?

I'm just hoping to find a few racks. I'm sure there will be plenty more after I get what I'm looking for if he wants to buy up the entire market of these.

I think if a chipper sees a chip they like, they want all of them obviously :-) Good luck, they really are beautiful chips.

Like I said, I have no idea his total, but I know he is working to get more.

2 racks per player, 14 players at 2 7-handed tables, that's 2800 chips in my mind to be set up for his game. He's a long way off this right now. I have no idea what his target is, but that would be my target.

We were playing 2.50/5 limit and had just enough chips for 12, if we were playing 7.50/15, I think I'd want more for sure.

Ehh, really treading water here, as many as he can get his hands on is the answer. I'm sure if you want them more than him, he would always listen to a holy shit offer, but until then, you are both in the market for the same chips, $ talks.

One guy doesn't need any. 14 guys across 2 tables, on the other hand, need about 28 racks. I'm pretty fucking far from 28 racks.

I don't know why you brought me into this. I thought you and I had a fragile truce. A tentative détente, if you will. A brief interlude of peace and prosperity.

It's ironic that the guy that hoovered Wynn chips and several other sets like PacMac eats dots thinks I've cornered the market on 8 spot snappers. You like to count things, so try this - unblock me (assuming you even see this), and find all the posts where I begged, offered trades, or offered to buy snappers. Now multiply this times 5 because I did most of my successful work via PMs. I've been on this snapper game since the outset. Not my fault that I've been successful in grabbing them and you're a Rainman-Come-Lately. I've spent HOURS trying to swing deals for these, to the point where they're value to me is much higher than what the market will bear for my selling them.

My best guess - and this is a total SWAG - is that I have about 35% of the total snapper chips out there. I'm basing this solely on the sheer number of people who bought between 1 barrel and 1 1/2 racks of snappers - and there are a TON of people still out there with these quantities. I'm having to do things like offer a $179 rack of chips for 125 $0.79 chips to get more snappers. For the record, just to prove I don't have an adversarial relationship with math, that's $179 worth of my chips for $98.75 worth of his chips.

Endgame is that there still a ton of chips out there but you're going to have to do the work to find them. Good luck in your searches. Half the fun is getting there.

(Actually, that's 10% of the fun. 90% of the fun is spreading a two table mixed game last Saturday).

You've definitely put together a nice set so far. Looks like it will be fun to play. I'm looking for quite a bit less than you though. I'm sure we'll both be able to get what we're looking for. I think that right now, everyone is just sorta sitting on their sets trying to see what the market does. Good luck with your hunt. No hard feelings. Hopefully, I'll be out of your way soon.

Rain man, Are you warming up to Grand Inlays? Id have pegged you for the tri moons?

Id wait and see when gear does a quarter label and determines if it will even work on the 8 spot snappers, and then there may be many more available.

No, I usually hate giant inlays. But they don't bother me on this chip. They also don't bother me on the bellagio chips. Mostly what I hate are large photos or busy artwork covering the face of a chip (PNY), or beautiful edge spots tucked away beneath someone's giant artwork (Ritz Carltons).

Mostly, I just like simplicity when it comes to inlays. Which is why I like these Horseshoe Cleveland chips. It's also why I like the Wynn chips and the Nevada Lodge chips.

I was about to "like" all of that, but then you mentioned the Wynn chips.
Those take simplicity way too far.

I should have specified: the Wynn charity tourney chips, not their chips for the table games

Oh I know. They have great spots, but the plain mold and the boring inlay make them unappealing to me.
It's been discussed to death, so no reason to belabor the point.
I like simple inlays too. Just not those ones.

Looking for 40 primary snappers. I have the secondaries you looking for.

Pm me!
