Also, market value is what they are worth, and lots being brand new higher denim chips they are worth a bitmmore because in 5 years they will still be mint higher denom chips... they were sold initially by Jim WAY under market value, and are still often sold under real value...

One thing that people need to keep in mind (aside from Tommy's post about not bashing "flippers") is that many people who are now selling their chips did NOT buy them at pre-sale or main sale prices. Some people need to recoup the premium prices they paid for their chips.

Also this thread is not the place for this discussion. This is Todd's forum for his sale and his chips.
Must've missed Tommys post about flipping..

Are the colors on the secondary $100 the same as the Cleveland colors?

Never mind, these seem a bit brighter.

So here I am, not unlike a little kid on Christmas Morning, all excited, barely whipped the sleep out of eyes, opening the forum page in agonizing anticipation of what may be on here.....and NOTHING...:mad::mad::mad::mad: ??? there is just nothing......?

Anyways....needless to say, I am keenly excited to see pricing and liquidate my life insurance and selling my kidney on the internet(y)(y):whistle: :whistling:

I really like this "self-policing" here in the forum - as soon as someone slightly weirs off track, there is always some senior member (massive amount of posts) here to reign them back in. To all those keeping this forum clean and the spirit friendly, I as a junior member, say. THANK YOU! Also, of course to the whole admin staff - THANK YOU.

Was really looking forward to these but it doesn't look like I'll be able to put together that limit set or be able to afford a secondary tourney set :( Glws!

For those of you trying to figure out the math on the secondary chip prices, they appear to be priced as follows:

$25s - $1.75 avg ($1.60 to 1.90 ea)
$100s - $4 ea
$500s - $7 ea
$1000s - $20 ea
$5000s - $30 ea

With these valuations, the '300 High Stakes Secondary Set' comes out to exactly $2600 as listed. If you then plug those prices into the low stakes set, the $25s work out to be $1.90 each, and in the 300 chip mid stakes set, they work out to about $1.60 each.

The 1k chips do skew the prices of the sets a little for me though. But im worried it might be a hassle for me to trade them off.

Awesome, thanks for posting! Two questions. First, are there any plans to offer a 100 chip heads up set, like 60x$25, 20x$100, 20x$500, or 60x$5, 20x$25, 20x$100? Personally I'd love to acquire a 100 chip secondary set I can keep in a clear display box and cart with me. Second, any quantity limits on the sample sets?

Great to see more chip available to us all, but unfortunately these are priced outside my budget. Not complaining, I'd rather see the major profits go to you than some others on here. After all you took the risk in buying ALL the chips.

Are 2$ in the average condition you're showing in the picture?

Also a suggestion -- What about offering sample sets of just the primaries/secondaries?

I can't exactly speak for him but I may be able to help.

$2.00 chips at Horseshoe Cincinnati/JACK Cincinnati are only used in limit games, primarily the 6/12 Fixed Limit Omaha 8 game that runs on Friday for no more than about 12 hours. The chips are generally in better condition than most other lower denomination chips in the casino based on how little they were/are used. The downside is that they tend to have rack check marks as people generally buy them/cash in full racks (then one chip is run across the edge of the rack to check that it is even) but these can mostly be cleaned off with a Magic Eraser and a little elbow grease.

Odd question. But some of your pics have the gpi white chip boxes. Did they come with a lot of boxes?

I know lots of us are looking for the white cardboard chip boxes and would be interested in those also.

Looks good for the higher quantities. Those prices get flexed a little for the sample sets, though, since the quantities are smaller.

Here's the pricing I'm estimating he's using for the sample sets. The primary chips from $25 up are a fair mimic of what you might see from other used sets out on eBay (the $1-$5 are just his prices for singles, or slightly rounded up). The secondary chips are double the value of the primaries, and are flexed versions of what he's used for pricing in quantity.

Primary:
1 - $0.75
2 - $2.50
2.50 - $1.50
5 - $0.75
25- -$1.50
100 - $3
500 - $6
1k - $13
5k - $18
25k - $33

Secondary:
25- -$3
100 - $6
500 - $12
1k - $26
5k - $36
25k - $66

There's no secondary 25k's available in the sets, so if you want one...well, this appears to be your chance.

you know, i actually like the idea of selling mainly (and for secondaries, only) preselected sets. click once, buy, done. no frantic back and forth trying to make sure you have each denomination you wanted.

only wish is for $25 prim to be made avail individually as its a very widely used chip.

I was looking at a cash set of 300 $1s 600 $5s 80 $25s and 20 $100s, but now im trying to figure out how i will do it

this is me in a nutshell also.

One might risk there being other sales(which was alluded) though that is a bit of a risk.

All the $2s are in similar condition which I would say is perfectly (my opinion) slightly used. They are in my sweet spot as far as condition goes.

Yes, most of them came in white boxes and will be shipped out in them as much as possible.
