Just stumbled on this gem from a 1968 issue of Life Magazine...

“The fascination lies in the number of players - up to 22.”

What say everyone about their single table sets now? Better add some racks!

If you don't have at least 300 fracs, you're clearly not a serious Hold Me host.

Wow. Thanks for posting. I remember hearing about a game called “hold me” when I was a kid. There were a few farmers and car dealers that played it, and I never made the connection. I forgot all about it until you shared this.

“So UTG limps, folds to UTG + 4 who raises, folds to UTG + 7 who calls then UTG + 8 three bets and UTG + 9...”

The strat threads would be completely unreadable.

12 people at that round table sure looks comfortable.

The first casino poker tournament I ever played in was the Paris. This was early days and we had two tables of 14 to start. You literally had to squeeze in between two people, look at your cards, then slide out so someone else could slide in. It was a nightmare.

I have that article somewhere...either digital or printed...but yeah, love the "diversity" at the table, I think I see THREE of the White Men wearing glasses......glad they let them in......:banghead:

EDIT: Yep, found the PDF (from 2010) on my computer.... :)
