Hello PCF family,
I wanted to share with you folks my latest drink cart creation. I have made several drink carts in the past, mostly using Corian for the tops. Corian is easy to cut with regular wood shop tools, is durable & looks good. Recently, I hatched idea to cover broken hockey sticks in epoxy to make the top. I have made 2 of them to date. I plan on continuing to mess with my design to see what other things I can come up with.....running the sticks at a 45 degree angle, using goalie sticks, trying painted trim around the outside, maybe dropping in a cordless cell phone charger into the surface, etc. Below are the pix of my creations to date. I would love some feedback on what you see, what you like and what you don't. Thanks!!
Boother
p.s. my inaugural unavailing of these carts will be at my annual New Years Day game. I will report back on what my fellow SE Mich crew thinks of them!!
