Just popped in here- been playing poker for years in house games and casinos. Been living in apartments in NYC for past few years so if you know the size they typically are- nooot exactly easy to host games. However finally getting a house with the wife in the next year- looking forward to getting stuff setup, so interested in seeing other people's rooms for inspiration.

Welcome, and I'm glad that you can now get some sleep.

Lots of good poker room threads here. Congrats on the house!

Welcome to the PCF. Congrats on the house. For inspiration you'll see a lot of Super Nice poker room setups on here. This is my smallish Mancave setup in the basement of my current house. The room I have in the basement is a little smaller than most on here. The main part of the basement is the cave and the other rooms in the basement are my son's playroom and the laundry room. It's a busy room as I tried to squeeze a bunch of Arcade 1Ups, Bubble Hockey, mini fridge, and my Home Theater in the room. With the size I can only have an 8 person octagon table. These pictures are a little older as the cave has changed slightly. Some of the wall displays have changed and I've since gotten a Ms. Pacman/Dig Dug/Galaxia and moved the SFII and MKII into my son's playroom. The Octagon table is off to the side folded for now. I also have a 96" 10 Person Oval Table stored in my Garage as I have no room in my current house and used it in my old house which was larger. My biggest regret about my cave is that I got a 65" 4K TV when I would of got a 75" or 85" LOL.

Woah! @Nuhockey your set up is LEGIT - SFII, MKII, Golden Tee, PS4, XBOX... not to mention all the poker gear.

I'm inviting myself over. ;)

Come on over. Thank goodness for Arcade 1up that they make the home sized arcade games so I can squeeze them in. I have room for one more Home sized arcade game and am just waiting for the right game to add.

Wow, I was thinking of making a MAME cabinet but these 1Up Cabinets are so niiiiice! What game are you thinking next?

Not sure yet. I got the Ms. Pac Man, Dig Dug and Galaga/Galaxian one for my wife to play in 2021 because she likes those games and because the Golden Tee I play and SFII and MKII my 8YO and I play together. I was looking at two other non-1ups which are SNK vs. which is basically those NEO GEO arcade games and that one has 50 games. Got good reviews, some of the titles are sequels. There is a newer machine called iircade which you can choose certain cabinets like Dragons Lair, Wrestling, burger time and you can download additional games to your cabinet. At first when iircade was first announced I was skeptical because the games were no name games and then as they started to get more and more licenses it is starting to look much better.

Love the bubble hockey machine too- curious if you customized it to Northeastern and some other school from the Beanpot? Friend of mine has had one of the old USA/Russia Super Chexx machines at his place

Welcome!!

Harlem/UWS here, have played with some PCFers in BK - there’s a great bunch of tri state crews here

I would love WWE Wrestlefest to come out from Arcade 1up.
Haha, the amount of quarters I pumped into those machines... gotta love Earthquake's finisher. Would totally showboat vs my friends the second he threw the thumbs down because it was over!

If you're talking about this, I think it'll be so rad. Metal Slug & Samurai Showdown... everything is gravy. :)

I've never played King Of Fighters but I see it praised everywhere.
