I like the case...but intrigued by the chips

The yellow look paulson, white & brown ASM & green are IDGAFplastic :)
What do you think ?

Are you sure ?

TRK crossed my mind...but i'm not going to be that lucky.
Chips are in UK and waiting on close-ups of the chip faces

Will lose my mind if these are vintage TRK hotstamped $1's :nailbite:

A low res pic that is too grainy when I blow it up to tell. Othe than the Green stack being plastics/BJ/Abiatti/etc, you definitely need better pics.

The case is a dealer tray that a casino would use, it could go for $100+ itself

Yes...that was my first target...a nice scrub/sand & powder coat & replace the plexi would do wonders...chips are maybe a bonus

Looks like a great score!

As an aside, I can never understand how people try to sell their stuff. Blurry pictures, vague descriptions, etc. It's almost if they're trying to make it as hard as possible to sell. I guess the flip side is that these obscure sales sometimes hide some real treasure.

Looks like a nice mystery score. I am in the UK, what site did you find these on? I check facebook/eBay/gumtree every day and haven't seen these pop up.

clay chips from uk are ususally large key or scroll mold

Update: I received the close up picture of the chips........

Snatched them for 40 EUR incl shipping.
The yellow diamond mold could be clay diamond molds blanks...other chips are nothing special.
But that real casino tray is the real prize :)

Next time you'll see it..it will look a whole lot better ;)

Spotted orange and off-white chips look like ASM. Solid yellow diamonds really look like good clay, but the inner ring looks really wide?

ASM CSQ...plastic IDGAF...ASM MD-50/DSQ and (maybe) Paulson diamond molds (blanks :) )

Ps. there is a great background (illegal casino) story on the chip tray...will post once I have it delivered ;)

Nah, they're good. I go by the non square diamonds:

Having obsessed about this for a little while, I am now concerned a little with the width of the ring. The apparent lighting effect on ring width is really superseded by the apparent angle/light effect on the diamonds. I was seeing what I wanted to see, I think. And that white smudge in the ring at 6-7 o'clock is also scaring me a little.

Anxiously awaiting the "chip in hand assessment".

Time for an update

The yellow diamond chips were all plastic...so that was a bummer.
Other chips were these

Two old UK casino's (ASM HHR 'Gorsey Gop Casino' & ASM CSQ 'Coral Strand Casino')
The other chips were not identified...those ASM DSQSQ did shuffle like butter...NEVER seen such a 'soft' ASM/CPC chip

All these found a new home at David CPC

Now the score for me was the chip tray

It looked like this

Now it looks like this :D

So much metalics (tripple dose) but it's hard to capture on picture
Still waiting on the plexi but after that is glued in...another mini project done
