I’m building a set of Paulson chips that I am going to go full inlay replacement with.

I have the $5, $25, & $100 chips, but would like some ideas for the $1 chip. Since it is getting the inlay removed it doesn’t need to be an actual $1 chip right now.

Parameters of what I’m looking for:
  1. Must be THC mold
  2. In VG+ condition. Some home game use is fine, I don’t want anything casino used.

I’m open on color and edge spots. The chips need to be reasonably available. I only need 150 to 200 total. Ideally I’d like to keep the cost at or below $3/chip.

Here are the other chips in the set.

Definitely considering the AS $2 and Empress T100.

I know the $2 chips is available and in the price range any idea of the T100 chip?

Also I am using the Paris $1 in my mixed set. I love the inlay too much to replace it. When I first came up with the idea of this set I contemplated making the whole set a Paris set actually.

Can’t remotely replicate the colour in the cpc tool but what about the metallic gold labradors/cdm/whatever else they come in.

The metallic colors get/look dirty very easy I have read a lot. So the brown of the AS $2 would be a good alternative.

The ES T100 looks great in that mock up, too bad they re so expensive. :(

Sam's town 1(no inlay would need to be milled)
Silver sevens 1.....or 2(I think)
Boulder station 1
NYNY 1

This may a boring but pragmatic suggestion -- how about the solid blue Flamingo $1s? New stock was available (at least a few years ago, brand new chips were being added/rotated into play, at least in the poker room). I've harvested 2 barrels with sharp edges. These are reasonably available. And there are some racks out there on PCF. The condition should meet or exceed the shape of the $2.50s above. Cost would be below your budget.

I’m liking the idea of a grey or charcoal if possible. I have sets with blue and white $1’s already. Both colors are still in the mix, but would like to explore all the options.
