True, never really considered the dirty stack issue. Have been considering an NYNY $1, too.A simply because of dirty stack issues with lineup B. I like both though!
Glad to see the fiver and SB look killer next to each other, as that's what I'm leaning towards. Want to try and keep the £1s budget friendly, so trying to avoid more TPs, sadly.
Absolutely love these color combos!!!
Incredible username, fair play!Absolutely love these color combos!!!
Reason for Jeep's old tag is because I was also floating a purple $5 lineup, having loved seeing @chicubs1988 Harold's set w/ an arc (or orange) frac and a purple $5 playing together on the felt. I also love green chips in general and slotting them in was also part of that plan. Settled on this if it helps w/ anything, although I'll be axing a green rack and adding a purple one most likely:
Very nice indeed. I'm a big fan of non-traditional colours, so have had a purple fiver before; love the idea of a green £1, too. Will have a think about some other options — cheers for the inspiration.Reason for Jeep's old tag is because I was also floating a purple $5 lineup, having loved seeing @chicubs1988 Harold's set w/ an arc (or orange) frac and a purple $5 playing together on the felt. I'm not sure if anyone's got barrels of both chips where they could illustrate? Not sure why people think that a dirty stack is an issue with either of those sets. Maybe someone can enlighten me?
I understand conceptually, but with those color schemes don't see it... the green and blue chips have similar spots of similar colors but the base is so different. You would notice a single chip of either of those in a stack of the other i would think, and if you mixed them shamelessly then i would think you could see that too, but maybe i'm wrong on that...I'm not sure if anyone's got barrels of both chips where they could illustrate?

I don't see that... the edge spots seem to be distinctive. A dirty stack would stand out IMO, and maybe a single chip or 2 could be mixed in, but even then i think it would be noticeable. I may have to look and see if i have chips that sorta match and play, but i don't think i do.It's more to do with the blue and purple chips, I think.
Yellow.
A couple yellow options for the frac with color combos i like for the 1/5/20 as well. For the blue chip it's basically the same only with the blue and white swapped so blue is the main. I'm old school, 5's are red....Yellow.

Purple makes it easy to distinguish and i associate with a higher value chip for some reason. If anyone has trouble finding dirty stacks, you need Braille on your chips...

Its a 20 not 25, so not a standard progression except for cash sets i've seen. $5 = Red and $25 = Green and $100 = Black. Those are the three rules i would never violate if i'm building a set... but to each their own.I would stay away from most purple $25 if you are using blue $1 and red $5.
If you use a yellow $5 then purple $25 would be fine (standard Cali progression).

A white or yellow $20 would work a lot better in a blue-red-xxx-black line-up. Def not purple.Its a 20 not 25, so not a standard progression except for cash sets i've seen. $5 = Red and $25 = Green and $100 = Black.
No black in this progression. If you said that a black $100 was going to be added... the frac is a little too nice but i like it... might swap it for $1 and make white 1 and blue frac...A white or yellow $20 would work a lot better in a blue-red-xxx-black line-up. Def not purple.

Hows this work for you? Makes the frac simpler. Also, i usually go purple for 500 but if we are capped at 100 (and not just 20) then i like the purple and black for 100. I also think that the chips set above is nicer if the white and blue are switched with $1 white chips and frac blue (as is or plain).I really would consider a yellow frac in this lineup instead of white.
