Thanks for letting me join in this forum - my name is David, I am 38 years old and from Germany.
I started playing poker back in 2006 (and at this time was also very active on Chiptalk - with the same nickname). I played myself through a lot of chip sets and always had joy in changing them
... here is a short list of sets I purchased/sold through the years:
- Dice chips (there had to be a start - haha)
- Casino Royale plastic chips
- WSOP ceramics
- Paulson Pharaohs
- Lucky Dragon ceramics
- Bellagio ceramics
- La Corrida Ceramics
- BBC High rollers
- EPT ceramics
- PNY's (my favorites so far)
... and a few more I can't remember
I also had several custom set's made:
- ASM "Paradise Island"
- ASM "Monsoon Palace"
- ASM "Vascoly's" (in cooperation with Max at CT) - the only set I still have
- ASM "Mujaba Club" (blanks with custom label stickers)
- Paulson "Mujaba Club (blank with custom label stickers)
The last 5-6 years I hardly played (as everyone from our home game got kids, family etc, we never played), but I plan to change that after corona ... I also have design ideas for a new custom set - of course the last one like many others as my wife and I expect our first child this summer, he should get his own set ;-)
