Welcome to the forum, Kevin!

Welcome to the forum Kevin, any particular chips that have caught your eye so far?

Fellow Chipper Ben
Sup Ben.

I just started a game out of my garage. Call it The Hangar. But the chips I bought are all dark colored. They all tend to blend together. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Welcome from another Coloradan! Lots of great Colorado members here.
I've seen a few so far. Just discovered a love for chips. They are fun to collect. Any place you normally play?

A million, but we'll slow it down. Welcome! Love the theme. Most of us design our sets so they can be easily distinguishable even after several bourbons and low light conditions, makes it more playable. Plus the denomination being somewhere on the chip is a big step up, even if my apes still ask what each one is worth every game.

I go up to the hill every once in a while. Occasionally, some local PCFers get together for a cash game or tournament. What do you play at the Hanger? I’d love to check it out sometime if you’ve got extra room.

Welcome! I used to live in Aurora, CO. And hey, there’s several Aurora Star/club poker sets you’ll find that are stellar, just sayin ;)

Now thats a nice set. Custom made or did you trade around for those?

After a few Scotches my chips are even harder to see. Need to get my feet wet on here and branch out. A friend of mine has some... Canyon Jack?? Super bright and standard colors as most casino's. (Black = $100, Green = $25 etc.). Do players get your confused with the "standard" colors?

Up the hill is good but sometimes I'm not interested in driving so far. Plus, I've grown accustom to bomb pots! Ever play em? Lately We've been diving into a lot of mixed games at The Hangar. Tough to deal but I'm getting the hang of it. Yeah, would love to grow the local player lists. What do you typically play?

That's great. Need to upgrade my set of chips soon. Trying to get use to this site right now. Where do you usually play?

Appreciated! Fully custom, only ones like it. No player has ever been confused by the colors, but then again I dont have many casino players. Those that do join and have lots of experience are good enough to figure it out anyways. If you want to go traditional, enjoy! But it hasnt been an issue, in fact I strongly prefer the different color breakdown.

Only time Id be worried about mixing it up is if I were to still use those colors; if I was going red $1 and white $5 I think it would be an issue.

I'm a big fan of circus games, but also enjoy the classic NLH. I typically play .25 / .50 stakes, but am comfortable at higher. What stakes do you typically play?
