Looks like half of the 150k was your snappers!

Seriously these are a dream set. Even found a way to make a brown $2 look good.

Overall Aurora Star kicks Empress Stars ass from top to bottom. The only exception possibly being the $20 chips, both being equally great.

Much better actual spot progressions in the cash set instead of just picking all the cool spot patters and calling it a set.

^ Yeah, please share the story!

... nevermind. I think I get the story behind it.

Was this a group buy ? Is this an old fantasy set or a casino that never went live ?

Omg piss’d. Those snappers and 25s together are symphonic. Chromatic bliss. Hold on....there’s gotta be another big word in here somewhere....

It hurts me to see that, they do look so fantastic together. It was the exact reason I initially bought a snapper limit set. Then I decided I didn't need a snapper limit set. (n)

Curious, what did you guys end up doing for the inlay? (Doesn’t appear to be textured from the pictures... is that even possible with Paulson anymore? Doesn’t look glossy either tho and I know @BGinGA wouldn’t have let that happen anyway  :ROFLMAO: )

Die-cut shaped and textured inlays are no longer available on compression-molded chips from GPI. All inlay sets have glossy lamination inlays.

That is good to know. My PCA’s aren’t worried about losing any value from the influx of these sets, not that I will be selling anyways!

I thought the round inlays was done so the chips could be labeled easily for custom sets or different denominations as was done already by some members of the GB.

I’d have so happily given up round/smooth (more easily replaceable) inlays to get shaped/textured inlays. There’s a reason my PCA/Aztar/Aruba’s/Nooksacks cash sets aren’t going anywhere ;)

Thanks for clarifying. I thought that may have been the case. Doesn’t make the chips any less purty. You guys did a hell of a job.

Love my mixed THC and house mold cash set that I built thanks to recs from the senior folks on this forum. Will never get rid of that set. Leaded, textured inlays, real shaped as well on some.

Would still love to line coffers 5x the cost of a GB member who is happy to clear a handsome profit by selling a small cash set... ;)
