Harvesting Chips for Forum Members Discussion (4 Viewers)

Nice score
Thanks!

How many chips can you fit in your ultrasonic cleaner?
Do you use anything besides water?
20 chips in the ultrasonic - 8 min wash
I add palmolive detergent in the ultrasonic

Then I use Ultrasonic toothbrush to clean each chip

Oil - I use a bottle of unscented oil for chopping board. The color really pops after oiling. +pic

Wow those chips are great! I wish I had a barrel of those for my mixed set.

New mission, someone needs to harvest these, saw them on eBay, awesome chips. Not sure if they are current - chipguide says 2009 active and nothing since. I assume drop chips so probably not easy to get.

great for your $1000 relabel or other. Yes, $4/chip is pricey at cost, but hell of a lot less than the costs of $1000 chips.

I have one I got when I was living out there. At the time, they were not hard to get. I just asked, and they sold me one. (Much different than the MGM properties) Not sure if they still have them, and if you can still obtain them easily. GL, in your search! Beautiful chip!

It was a good night last night for harvesting. Spent about 5 hours with a buddy rotating between all the tables. I got the final .50's and 1's I needed for @slisk250 and for @pltrgyst :).

Just gotta get them cleaned up now!

Fantastic!!! I knew you would get it done. The chips look like they are in great condition.

Bump for a rack or two of these. Who's goin to Vegas next? I'll pay for shipping and tip money for both you and the cage...

Yeah they are in really good condition. I'm so glad I'm done harvesting these though! 150 mile round trip and it took 7 trips to get all of them lol

Basically unavailable. Already sent a scouting party last year...... zero chips.

Why is that, Dave? Any ideas. I was actually thinking of making the drive out there in June until I saw this.

Really small place, small number of chips ordered to start with, most already been harvested. Check with zombie for details.

If anyone is hitting Vegas and specifically the Flamingo anytime soon, I'd love some solid light blue singles. Looking for about 450 if you're so inclined. PM for further begging and bribery...

I think the flamingo is probably one of the most "chip harvested" casinos around. I would hate to see their chip expense line in their P&L. They must be asking why their direct op expenses have risen so much.
I think I am down to only needing about 25 spotted with birds to complete my last rack

Yeah mine will be a much easier request since I only need solids. I would like them in relatively similar condition, however. I'm not extraordinarily picky, but I'd like to be able to take a peek at the condition via texting with my harvester. I'll be relabeling or maybe doing full inlay replacement depending on how the chips take a label.

The solids are in pretty good shape....better than the spotted ones for sure. I'm not going again til next year but this would be one of the easier harvests....buying racks very easy in poker room, pick out any worn ones, return those to the cage. Lather. Rinse. Repeat.
Good luck.

Thanks! I have a couple very generous potential harvesters at this point, but we'll see who makes it out there first.

I have a couple of mint racks. I doubt the live chips are in decent condition any longer, they've been in play for awhile.

Someone listed 2 racks of those on eBay for $400 abt 3-4 months ago, looked minty. Might search for past auctions and contact seller, they did not sell and were not relisted. I was watching but must have deleted it.

What do you guys find as the best way to harvest snappers?
