Well it has been quite some time (over 2 years I believe) since I have created anything. For me, creating is a big part of this hobby and I have been missing that part of chipping a bit lately.
Justifying another set of chips is a hurdle I easily overcome regularly. With that being said, the idea of creating a "travel" set of chips seemed like a no brainer and with Tina's being so affordable the purpose box was quickly checked. Time to contact my go to designer @mattross1313 and see if he was available. He shared his timeline with me I and shared a bit of my vision with him.
My thought was to create a design that represents a bit of where I am at currently. Enjoying a newer career in the casino industry clearly lent itself to being the basis behind the design of the inlay. So the name of the casino i work for and the palm trees that are often used in the community were chosen. In trying not to bore those of you reading this, my initial vision for this inlay was not even close to what you see as the finished product. I have to give ALL of the credit here to Mattross and his skills as a designer. We have worked together before and he clearly understands the look and style of inlay art that inspires me. Here is the final product being sent to Justin for production.
I am making it available for this month's group buy at Broken Arrow. There will also be a matching dealer button offered as well.
Thank you to everyone in this community that keeps this hobby going strong. This place and the people I have met here have truly been a blessing.
