Benny Glaser is lighting the Series up with his third bracelet of the year, all in low but events. And we're only about halfway through the events.

One more win and he:
  • Passes Pearson, Hellmuth, Ivey, Forrest, Lisandro, Danzer and Seiver for sole owner of most bracelets in a year.
  • Ties Moss for fourth most ever behind Doyle, Chan, Seidel, Ivey and Hellmuth.
All this and he's not even 40.

Winning three at a modern series (generally, bigger fields, better players, etc.) has to be a top 5-10 poker accomplishment of all time, right?

We are only through event 56 so he ain't done yet.

He's only the 7th person to do it but Scott Seiver did it last year too with three bracelets, two other final tables, and something like 17 cashes if you count online. Glaser doesn't even have the most impressive accomplishment at the WSOP in the past 2 years (yet).

The craziest part is that he only has four cashes so far in 2025. Three bracelets and a 16th place in a 575 entry event. When Glaser cashes, he CASHES.

Well that definitely puts Seiver top 4.

Probably. But I don't think he has a chance of beating Schulman on this year's hall of fame ballot.
I haven't seen much glaser this year (pokergo thinks we only like to watch holdem) but I remember watching him at a final table last year - he seems like a genuinely decent guy. Might just be the British in him though.
