You can enter as many times as you want. You must post a picture of your pet. Preferably dog pictures, but any pet pictures will work.

The contest may run for three days. It may run for two weeks. I will cover shipping in the US. If an overseas chipper wins, you will have to pay shipping. Otherwise, everyone is allowed to enter.

This is in honor of my lab, Cody. I have to unexpectedly put him down this afternoon. I want fun pictures of pets to make me smile.

So sorry about Cody - my wife worked in a vet clinic for years, and we knew so many stories of how the end of life with beloved dogs can be crushing…

My wife also has slowly worn down my pet-free preferences I’ve had since childhood. I lost a dog to seizures long ago and have had a tough time warming back up to it. That said, these two buggers are incredibly friendly and have done a lot of work on my tiny little heart.

Here is Keyser on New Years Eve. He hates fireworks so was maxed out on CBD treats and a quarter pill of Benadryl. So this is basically a crossfaded chihuahua.

This is Kernel. He is a hideous old gremlin and I long since stopped taking normal pictures of him. However as happenstance would have it he was sitting quite daintily recently and so I actually have a good recent photo for him.

This is a much more common look for him.

Having to put down a pet is terrible. Had to do that a couple years ago with my buddy that I had for 18 years. Still miss him. My sister-in-law does pet portraits and did this one for me.
