If the chair was genuinely faulty and he was really seriously injured then I suppose this would be fair enough. However, I suspect his injuries are not really that bad and the accident was probably his fault. He is probably trying to make some quick money out of a minor, everyday accident. If this is indeed the case, then I have no sympathy at all for him.
