Fugly Poker Table Thread (28 Viewers)

This one is local to me. Well, unless there are two of these out there for sale at the same time.
I built my first table during the height of the poker boom, in the early-mid 2000's. Not knowing how to build a table I went online for help. There was a lot of "information" talking about how good pool noodles were for building a rail.

I suspect that there were a lot of pool noodle tables made around that time based on the "good advice" - advice that I subsequently ignored because I wanted an octagon and for the life of me, I couldn't imagine how it could possibly look right.

I wonder why he didn't have space for it?

Yea I posted that before lol, it’s in keene nh last I knew. I’m guessing it’s meant to be one of the towns up there since keene doesn’t appear to be that shape and neither are any of the states. But knowing keene, I think there’s a fair chance the dude was just shmattered when he cut it lol.

Yup, I had a pool noodle rail for about a year in the early '00s. Wasn't that bad...until it fell apart.

Got a few more gems from this mornings surfing…

I think this is the first time I’ve seen this style of vertical holders on a table, I could some someone somewhere a long time ago thinking this was a cool idea.

Tell ya one thing tho, this tables a grower, not a show-er…

Even with the 100mm chips holders, there is still little room to stack your chips. Fortunately, there is a lower extension.

This one adds an extra dimension to the game. You’re never able to see your opponents’ stack (unless they’re on your immediate left or right) so you need to keep up with it all game. Imagine announcing all in for what you think is their last few dollars and they pull out a barrel of blacks from across the table.
