Fournier vs. Dal Negro (5 Viewers)

The one I have is made in Belgium, there is no way that the stocks are the same between Brazil and Belgium.
100% different stock in my opinion.
Wasn't disputing that. Probably two different runs with similar packaging from two different print houses.

Mostly from the Brazilian stock. But I agree that the Copag ink fading meme is overblown.

Cartamundi Belgium and gasp, even Fournier ink fades at about the same rate as the Copag in my experience.

Thanks for your insight, how quick/slow is "the same rate" for you?
How many home games before seeing any ink fading?
Do you often wash your cards?

I've never had Copags in play long enough to see. A setup of used 2024 WSOP cards was in play for a 5 hour session on a table topper and shows no signs of wear.

A set of bridge PokerStars Fourniers after a 6 hour session on my casino cloth table already has shown signs of fading.

I have a setup of Cartamundi Belgium casino cards that has been put into play for five 6 or so hour sessions that, while still will last at least another 4 or 5 sessions, is showing some faded ink, but no where near illegible yet.

I absolutely love reading that the DOAT (Deck Of All Time) is standing strong against durability issues, thank you so much for your insight.
I've read that they were made for casino and thus, shuffling machines, meaning that shuffling them with hands was wearing the ink quickly. But that person was talking about the Tobago Casino version of the Cartamundi Belgium deck, so this statement must be taken with a grain of salt regarding the stock version.
I'm still glad to hear that.

With light home use they'll be totally fine and last several years if stored in a cool environment with low humidity. Heat and humidity is always the main threat to card longevity rather than ink fading unless you're playing every day and using the same decks consecutively.

Thanks to the reviews and feedback here I bought a setup of the Black Jack Rose (found a link from @JMC9389 a year ago):

do they come in a plastic, single deck box?
Nope, just as shown in the pictures, two separate paper tuck boxes. No fancy KEM or Modiano style box.

Funny, 4 index standard size version comes with plastic box

To those with the NTP cards, can you compare with Desjgn Dal Negro-made cards?

I love my Desjgn but looking for something even a bit softer feeling (more like a KEM). If these NTP are stiffer will probably skip, also prefer bridge size but if they feel soft more toward a KEM then I’d be willing to get poker size.

If you want soft I'd go for Angel. NTP has a nice feel but I wouldn't label them soft like KEMs.
