Hello all,

Currently using Copags but am looking at ordering a lot of different brands to try out.

I’ve stumbled upon Fournier and would like to order some but I can’t tell the difference in 2800 and 2818.

Could someone enlighten me (super card newbie)

I believe the 2800 are poker sized, where as the 2818 are bridge size.

The other day a tournament director at the Barcelona casino told me that years ago they were different, but now they are the same card with different packaging. As I had doubts, I confirmed it directly with the source.

I think the 2800 and 2818 refers to the back design only (2800 more geometric, 2818 more floral). I think there may be multiple indexes available for each, or their catalog information contradicts itself.

For example, the catalog says the 2800 has two large indicies, but the picture shows 4 small pips:

The unit barcode (8 420707 351786) matches what eBay listings have for 2800s but the eBay listings show 2-pip jumbo:

So they must come in both 4-pip regular and 2-pip jumbo (and possibly other options), but the consistent thing is their back designs.

Actually, looking further at the catalog, looks like they might have just mixed the pictures for the 2800 and 2500:

2500s are described as having 4 standard indicies.

Based on eBay listings, the 2500s all have 4-pips, while the 2800s all have 2 (jumbo) pips:

These are mostly from the same eBay seller, so of course they might make a mistake.

Back designs may vary, if you order custom cards or EPT, WSOP and WPT cards, but the 2800 is a jumbo index and the 2500 is a standard 4 pip index, catalog photos may have been changed, years ago They made about 2500 with standard 2 pips in bulk for casino use.

Not the world's best photographer and I did this very quickly, but I have a few varieties of these.

Left to right
Fournier 2800 - jumbo index, index is not bold, security red, AoS states 2818
Fournier 2818 - jumbo index, index is not bold, security red, AoS states 2818
WPT 2818 - jumbo index, index is bold, bright red, AoS states 2818
EPT (new) 2818 - jumbo index, index is bold, bright red, AoS states 2818
EPT (old) 2818 - jumbo index, index is bold, security red, AoS states 2818

I can't feel any real difference in the card stock in my hands.

Wow you keep a lot of decks congrats, just I have curious about Copag cards made in Fournier factory if feel same touch of fournier or Bicycle PVC sheet.

I checked my Copags (I don't have any unopened), and as far as I can tell from the packaging, they were made in Brazil. The packaging for the Copag casino pro cards I have do not indicate where they were made. Sorry.
