Cash Game First time playing cash in a casino (1 Viewer)

Don’t expect anyone to play like they’ve read a book.
Statistics and probabilities are only calculated for buffet openings, not cards.
Omaha is going to be brutal, you will get bet off of the third nuts just to find out they overvalued their pair of queens with ace kicker.
I think you will find you are giving the players too much credit to begin with but just wait and see. You should be able to tell what type of game it is after a round. Oh, and good luck being patient...you are going to see maybe 20-25 hands an hour compared to the 120 or so you see online when 2-3 tabling. :)

I'm interested to see how this game is, good luck and have fun man.
Man, you guys weren’t joking!

I wonder if that’s more true with PLO.
In my limited experience with PLO8, the game draws people who are either really good at O8 or giant nits or both.

Still waiting on PLO, but got in on some limp heavy NLHE while I wait.

RT Plastics in play.

Played PLO in the World Series about three years back. It played like a garage game. People moving all in with JJ38 and getting called with crap like AQ47. I shit you not. One four way All in during the second level and a pair of fours won it. It was like a contest to see who could win with the shittiest hand.

Nothing huge, but I picked up a couple pots. Sitting at $485 right now.

Out of curiosity, are your villains wearing sunglasses or hoods?
Do they speak at all?
How are they dressed? How are you dressed?
I know that you 're in the middle of a game, so you may answer these questions afterwards.
At 48, I’m easily below the average age. Everyone knows each other, and it’s a pretty talkative and welcoming table. No hoods or headphones. Masks and shields.

I'm a loser that wears glasses at the table, however my prescription sunglasses actually are better than my regular ones for now. So I look like a tool at the table, but at least my blind ass can see lol

The few times I played in a public cardroom, I made every effort to NOT hide who I am.
Dark jacket, steel Rolex on the wrist, and a cup of scotch in hand, so people would have every right to say "here comes the sucker whale".
Of course, I wasn't drinking but rather smelling the scotch (which I anyway dislike; I just drink bourbon) and my posture as clueless rich sucker paid off in the end, at least a little bit.

Andrew, don’t give me this shit that you’ve never played cash in a casino before. I would believe @shorticus or @IaHawk, but your play couldn’t have been developed without sitting in some of the toughest casino lineups.
My skills were forged in the furnace of Windy Crest, Baby!

That's good to hear. It's always better when people are talking and having a good time vs people listening to music or just staring at their phones. May as well be having a good time while you're winning $$.
