First CPC Mockup - The Metronome (1 Viewer)

Slowly approaching the finish line ...

I'm committed to a clean piano at last, because it better fits the metronome on the flip side imho. IF I hadn't chosen the double-sided layout, the decision would have been the opposite. Not much left to do before pulling the trigger - besides converting my baby to the AI-format for production.

I'm not yet sure how to offer reasonable priced samples when importing to germany. I'm paying a whopping 19% tax ontop of the CPC-invoice (maybe more as shipping costs are taxed as well) and have to send them back to the US with costly int. shipping. Does anyone know of a smart solution to this? Sort of shipment/billing split?

The clean piano keys are very sharp - I like them a lot.

Unfortunately I know of no reasonable way to handle samples, other than marking up the price to cover shipping. European chippers have a distinct disadvantage, but in the end will have better chips than most european casinos.

CPC has been sometimes willing, in the past, to ship a portion of the chips to a US address - check with them. (It's good advertising for them to get the samples circulating, especially with a brilliant design like yours.)

What you need is a stateside volunteer to receive them and re-ship to sampler buyers.

I really like where this design has come. the two different sides are really nice. I also like the clean keys versus the other one. Great work.

^ this. Email David Spragg and make the request.

Post a request for a US-based samples partner. :)

Thanks for all the helpful suggestions and setting me on the right track! (y)

I've been lucky and the first good news just came in from David Spragg:
Anyway, because the files are absolutely perfect size (which hardly anyone seems to manage despite the templates!) I can work straight from the psd files.
Ha! No need to convert to Illustrator and fiddle with all those import quirks.

The splitting of invoice and sample-shipping has been agreed to, too. As soon as I got some (minor) things out of the way, I'll try to catch a volunteer (maybe baiting with lifetime free chip renders? {oh wait, they're free anyway}) and get this sample thing going.

For all of you might watching this thread but missed the sample order thread, I give this one a bump.
Sample orders are accepted only until tomorrow 12:00 Central Time!

Oder thread can be found over HERE

To make this post worth to look at for all the others:
Currently chewing on a tourney set, a first glance at the color concept and early inlay design (representing my guitars and banjo) ...

Disclosure: Even though I don't wear one, I like my G-strings wound. :sneaky:
