Finally bought a Shuffletech (1 Viewer)

UPDATE I just received notification from my US shipping box that the shuffler has arrived.

Very strange that I didn't get a response to my inquires but they ultimately have come through.

Tried it out last Friday using the new Desjgn cards. About 4 non-fatal jams and 1 fatal (non-fatal is where you can fix it manually mid-shuffle, fatal you have to do a power cycle). In the past I used poker sized cards but now use bridge, I will try again with poker size eventually.

My assessment based on experience is that buying one would be a gamble. Questionable quality and sporadic support.

is there any way you can film the jam? I am kinda curious about it. Mine is overall a workhorse but we have to use poker sized cards.

Will do, wont be back to the poker house until next week.

What happens when you use bridge size cards?

Thanks

So not a single jam during the last game. I think the cards we used were newer than the previous use (both were Desjgn bridge size cards).

I'll have to keep an eye on it.

Thanks,
Grant

We had one for my friends cash game. It ran for about two years 1-2 nights a week. It didn't jam that often. If you clean the rubber wheels inside with alcohol and Qtip when they get dirty it works good. Then his game ended and he put the table in storage for a year. A mouse got in it and built a home. lol I sent it to shuffletech and they charged me $150 to refurbish it. It took longer than they quoted me but it came back fixed. Its true that some cards work better than others. My friend used Copag's for his game and i've been using Copag and Desjgn and haven't had a problem really. it can be a little loud but putting it in the table helps with the noise level. You get used to it enough that you don't really notice it that much. I would say over all its a good deal. Unless you have 6k-8k to spend on a casino shuffler. Which not many do. lol

I have a lead on a couple of Shuffletechs if anyone is interested. They are used but appear to been good shape and working. I do not have a price yet but wanted to see if anyone was interested before pulling the trigger.

Any additional insight on people's experiences with bridge size vs poker size? I have sets of both but had planned on using poker sized cards.

Cool good to know. Got a brand new set of Kems waiting to go. Trying to keep them clean of hand oils lol
