Wow amazing! I will reply to the PMs I’ve already sent and start issuing refunds.

Thank you very much Jim. Wow! Stupendous!

Hey that’s a really awesome thing to do Jim. Thank man, you are a legend.

@TheChipVault Wow...thank you!!!

@TheChipVault : Thank you so much, Jim!! You're as classy as they come.

Well Friday is off to a helluva start! Thanks Jim!!

I have submitted the entire payment to @TheOffalo and we are moving full speed ahead.

You are all very much welcome and appreciated...as is everyone else that participated in this Faro Dunes cut card buy. I have to say it was fairly painless and drama free.

Also, thank you for supporting the Faro Dunes chips whether you purchased sets or just shared a few kind words of positive feedback. I plan to offer these cut cards as part of the sets and samples that remain in inventory.

Lastly, we are using an untested vendor... while I have high hopes, I wanted to take the cost risk off your shoulders in case these don't come out as expected.

Best regards and happy Friday,
Jim

6x bridge please if I’m able to sneak in the front door
This is the first time I've used this vendor, and while the cut cards were made and delivered relatively quickly, and the look and feel of the cut cards match the ones I've received from previous cut card GBs, there were some bumps, including the fact that we actually were shorted some bridge cut cards. So I will be fulfilling the orders from a small cushion plus my own allotment first.

I am reaching out to the vendor to have replacements for the missing cards made, and I will try to see if I can get them to produce more (since they have to go through the same setup and prep to produce 50 cut cards as they would to produce 10), but no guarantees.

Tagging everyone who's in the GB ( @Roslindale @GodStillBlesses @Jackstraw @DrunkleWade @TheChipVault @PinDoc @extreme517 @Huskerchipper @AK Chip @chippitydoodah @ChaosRock @Newenne @krafticus @Suited Connector @k9dr @Nuhockey @Schmendr1ck @ekricket @inca911 ) for completeness, but if you've already provided me with your mailing address in an existing PM for this GB, feel free to ignore this request.

Everyone else, if we already have an individual PM thread going on this GB, please respond with your mailing address in our existing PM thread.

Otherwise, please use the link below to create a new PM to me and let me know your mailing address:

I am still trying to figure out the best way to mail all these cards. I think for 4 or fewer cut cards, I can mail in a regular letter envelope with a standard Forever stamp. For more than 4 cut cards (but still in single digits), though, the envelope may become too thick or rigid and might require a non-machinable surcharge if mailed as a letter. So I may instead ship them as parcels, which costs more but would then include tracking (unlike letters). Larger quantities will all ship as parcels.

As a reminder, @TheChipVault is graciously covering the reshipping cost as well. Thank you Jim!

I’m happy to mule these to Scotland, Philly, Iceland for hand delivery if that makes it easier on folks. Just post here if that works better for someone and I can help

Reshipping has begun! I probably look like I'm doing something illegal, with my little digital scale and wearing rubber gloves to avoid leaving fingerprints on the cut cards when packing things up (and cleaning off any fingerprints or blemishes using the glasses cleaning cloth), and packaging all these little white packets. :ROFLMAO: Will be dropping these off tomorrow (Friday) or Saturday.

Need addresses from more folks! I'll start reaching out after I work through the people who have already provided their info.

Reshipping is essentially complete. The last 4 packages were dropped off at the PO on Saturday. I see a few of the packages I sent using Ground Advantage have already been delivered, and one person who I mailed a stamped envelope to across the country also got his cut cards already (I was expecting to take at least a week for the letters).

If anyone has any issues with your shipment, please let me know ASAP. Thanks everyone!

Those of you who were mailed stamped envelopes, I experimented with how best to "pack" the envelopes, so that they stayed flexible and not too rigid to go through the high-speed automated mail readers/feeders. I ended up "padding" the envelopes with extra cardstock so they weren't lumpy (paid extra postage because it made them over 1oz) and I spread out the cut cards to minimize thickness. To hold the cut cards in place, I used painters tape, but not the typical blue stuff...

Instead, I bought 3M "delicate surface" purple tape, which should leave no residue. Still, once you receive your cut cards, if they are held together with this purple tape, please remove the tape sooner rather than later. If there is slight residue, it should rub or wipe off easily.

(Also, just a reminder that the cut cards are not 100% plastic. Instead the artwork is printed on paper cardstock and then "coated" (basically laminated) with plastic, so there is a small chance that the edges are not as waterproof as the surface. It should be fine to wipe down the faces of the cut cards with a damp paper towel, but probably not a good idea to submerge them completely in water.)

Thank you very much for your efforts in pulling this together and getting them shipped in quick time @TheOffalo. I think Okku's January cut card buy is still at the printers, but to be fair it was like a zillion different cut cards and many cats to herd. :D
Yes, I believe Oscar's GB order was 5000+ cut cards. So this was like 5% the quantity and only 1 design per size, versus dozens of designs for each size. The bulk order probably got him an amazing price with the vendor, but that's not counting amount of time and work he had to put in already to prep for the order (and still has to put in for reshipping, once he receives all the cards). He's not charging for all of that work, otherwise the cost of the cut cards would have been much more!

It's a process for sure, but we're at the tail end of it.

Received! Thank you to everyone involved. I received mine today. Fantastic effort put into packaging and shipping. Wow. That purple tape worked perfectly as well... no residue.
Only the best... when it's on Jim's dime! ;-)

(Kidding, I bought the super-special delicate purple painters tape on my own, since I only used a small amount for mailing the letters, and I can use them on other projects...)
