Hello all,

The Fantasy Chip Tool will be coming back soon. Once the recent updates are fully tested and things are good to go, I will post a follow-up.

Thanks!

I was just saying to myself, "how am I going to waste all my extra time this week?"

With a global reduction in orders for commercial casino's perhaps we will even see a return to the home market............................crickets....

Would certainly make sense from a business perspective. If you ONLY sell to casinos, that's going vastly limit your potential sales. The only counter argument to this would be volume. The avg home game would be 800 chips, vs a casino placing orders in much larger quantities.

One would think, but maybe not so much

I could be totally wrong here, but my guess is that when they sold to the public they found it to be lots more trouble and only a very small % of their total profitability so they decided to exit that market.

Think about Bellagio re-ordering $1's which they recently did and compare just that one order to all the possible individual 1 off's that would potentially come from the home market. Bellagio order for $1's alone is probably for multiple times the number of chips that the entire home market would be and it comes with almost no effort and no possibility of mistakes or customer dissatisfaction.

There is also the issue of security. Whether or not that is a real worry is another thing, but I believe that security was a part of the discussion as well.

Yes, but as has been mentioned, when you have a single casino that is ordering hundreds of thousands of chips at a time, the number of home market orders pales in comparison. The amount of home market orders would probably only make up about what two full casino orders would bring in terms of revenue.

That being said, the same way Tommy has been running annual Abbiatti group buys for the past couple of years, if PCF runs fully 100% public Paulson group buys every year on one cash set and one tournament set, I'd hazard to say that this forum in itself would order about a million chips per order.

This is the most fun I’ve had in a while. There are a few things that could be improved, namely Peach and Salmon on the Paulson tool, and a few spots on the TRK tool, but even without that this tool is amazing. Seriously, thank you so much for getting this back up and running Tommy.

The TRK 3U spot would probably be better as a 2-color choice, with the inside and outside of the U being the choices:

And the top should be straight, not concave:

3DS14 could be made smaller to fit the spot more closely, it’s closer to 3DS316:

312 should be straight and a bit thicker rather than thin and concave:

And unrelated to spots, but the inlays should be a bit smaller, 15/16 inches, rather than the grand size they are in the designer.
Edit: There’s also an issue with the 3U spot edges missing the gap:

Am I missing where to save individual chips to make a line up out of them?
