I watched this like four times because it didn't look right. JRB looses his stack to wass. Then reaches behind him and grabs 2x 5k chips. Then asks wass for 10k, wass tosses him two 5k chips. JRB then picks them up, brings them in, then tosses them back and says, 10k in smaller chips. Then wass takes the same 2x 5k's, put it in his stack and gives JRB 100x 100's. Then jrb tells the dealer he is buying in for 20k when he literally just picked up only 10k from the chip rack behind him.

did I see that right? The camera angles were going back and forth. but JRB just kept playing the 20k stack. weird. If that is what actually happened, I wonder if it was intentional. Its about 4 hours into the stream.

That appears correct. Very odd and he even acts a little guilty right after covering his face with his hand.

He’s buying in for $10K in 2 $5k chips and borrowing $10K from Wass, and he sends back the 2 chips Wass gives him and asks for smaller denoms.
I don’t watch this on the regular but if he has 10k off table in chips and then borrows 10k why is he even telling the dealer anything? Haven’t all of those chips already been “bought in” to begin with?

It didn't seem like a loan to me. But that would make a lot of sense.

On live streams they usually have to announce how much they are putting into play so the graphics/staff know how much money is on the table and in which seats.

That is what is throwing me off because there is really only 10k in “new money” on the table. If he borrowed the other 10 but the whole 20 counts as his buy in, then hasn’t he essentially allowed the lender to squirrel 10k off the table?

when is that situation?

The reason nobody is exactly sure what happened is because that hot waitress walked in and scrambled everyones brains.

If you listen closely you can hear JRB say "Spot me ten". Wass shouldn't have take it from his stack though.
Ahh. I guess I missed that.

My bad everyone.

That is what I get for watching TV on close to silent so I don't wake up the wife and kid... We have a small place. I need headphones.

Sorry for the false alarm
