Hey, so I finally received my EPT replicas from China (kailegame).

Bought 500 chips at 0.26$ each.

Review:

+Amazing quality for the price
+One of the best looking chips ever made/designed (imo)
+Feel very smooth just as any ceramic chips

-Very expensive shipping (well, package was like 12kg)
-Some minor inconsistencies with the white EPT text on some chips (opacity)
-You can see some printing marks from the chip maker machine on the chips If you look closely with light (in normal use doesn't show at all)

And If anyone has problems with supporting "stolen" designs etc.. Personally I would pay for originals with a premium price, BUT they aren't available so this Is the best you can get
If you want to own EPT chips with the oldschool design :)

(0.50 chip was my own request for the color, but I do regret not having the denomination with a slight shadow under It (white on neon yellow Isn't really visible without a shadow, thankfully only ordered 25 of those ones ^^)

Seen some posts about people asking about EPT chips and about mandypoker etc. This Is a complete guess, but I think mandypoker, zaf.su etc are 3rd party sellers and will ask for much higher price for the exact same product so those interested, keep that in mind. :p

Again these were bought from http://www.kailegame.com (I don't have any affiliation with this company, but I am very happy with my purchase at least)

Really nice. Love the blue ones. Might need to pull the trigger for a tournament set.

Hmm, what do you guys think about the 0.05? Maybe ask them to make It a bit greyer white instead of pure white? not quite sure..

Could also copy the colors from the old dealer button for the 0.05:

I'm more skeptical about the green 0.25 vs. green 25.

Well, currently our cash games usually stick with 0.05, 0.25, 0.50, 1 & 5 (and If needed, 10)

The 0.25 & 25 wouldn't really conflict between each other If that's what you're talking about.

I kinda see the 25 number as green whether It be 0.25 or 25 ^^

Want mine EPT?

To buy? I think I have to buy from same vendor as before due to the font I picked originally, would bother me to have different font In the denominations going from chip to chip ^^

Asked If I could see sample chip photos of the 0.05 and this Is how It would look, I need to get another photo with the 4 "EPT" In blue instead of black.

Or I could just skip the 0.50 as suggested above and simply pick the yellow color for the 0.05...

Not sure ^^

Pick up the yellow for 0.05
Forget it the 0.50
I
Make the same mistake in the beginning

Yeah dropping the 0.50 would make sense I guess + save me some money too.
Maybe I'll fill my tray of 10s & 100s full (got 75 of both right now) instead

Bleh can't decide which colors I should pick for the 0.05 & 0.25 (any suggestions?)

Right now:

1 = White/grey
2.50 = Pink (for blackjack)
5 = Red
10 = Blue
25 = Green
100 = Black
500 = Purple
1000 = Yellow (neon)

Bah can't make my mind up :unsure:

Which of these for 0.05 ??? (I think I still gonna go with the light green for 0.25s)

In the preview picture the white/blue looks pretty good, but in the actual sample chip It looks more beige white :/

What kind of a set are you building?

Regarding the chip color, if your OP is what chips you already have, I'd go with white. That's clearly distinguishable, and a similar chip you yet don't seem to have.
If it's beige-ish on the photo, so what it still looks nice.
If you really want to go with light green on the 0.25, I think the frac could be a little brighter and maybe the 25 could be darker / another shade of green. Although unlikely that they'll be on the table at the same time.

Yeah went with the white/blue ones for 0.05, post pics once they arrive! :)

So the additional chips finally arrived.

I'm very happy with the decision to keep the 0.05 as white/blue, love the colors together :tup:

Also took 25 x 0.50 as yellow just to see how they would have looked as 0.05

I think the white/blue > yellow easily ^^

Hello guys, one quick question are these 39 or 43? Do you reckon the official ones are 43?

I thought I would chip in on the quality of the chips from http://www.kailegame.com.
First, I would like to thank Cadaveri for the info. I Googled a lot until I found this site.

Short version: they are good

Long version:
I bought 400 "1" and "5" chips to use in cash games. I live in Norway so I wanted to use our currency and not $. I already own "original EPT" tournament chips so I was curious to see the difference.
The buying experience was good. Some emails, got to see some different samples, payed via PayPal and one week after I had them delivered via UPS. I paid 204 USD including shipping. Will have to pay some toll etc no doubt.

-packaging was excellent
-Weight is the same.
- texture is maybe slightly less "rippled" on the replicas. If you drag your nail over the chip it is ever so slightly less friction on the replicas.
-I like the blue colour of the original "10000" chip and ordered the "5" in the same colour (as I will never use these chips in the same game). There is a slight difference but I think it's fine.
Otherwise they feel the same, sound the same and bounce the same.
I sacrificed one "25" original and one "1" replica chip for a scratch test. Maybe a little easier to scratch the replica but really nothing in it. First I took a spoon and really grinded the chips. That did not take of the print on either chip, just made some superficial marks you could see in a specific light. Then I took the sharpest knife I have and made some scratches. You can see the results in the pictures. I will have to see how they hold up in the long term but I am happy with the purchase so far
The originals are from 2016 I think and they still look really good.

Hope this is of use to someone looking to buy. Thanks again to the starter of this post.
