Ellis Island retired chips (3 Viewers)

I couldn't find this online, but I'm not really sure where to look either. Has Ellis Island posted a deadline to cash in the old chips after they introduced the new ones?

I have a rack of pretty clean $1 hot stamps, and honestly I'm pretty sure I'll just keep them, but I was curious as I've never encountered this before. Plus it seems like they'd hold value for collectors if I ever wanted to sell them.

Thanks, I will. I have these along with a bunch of Caesar's $1's and $5's that I've been using for home games until my CPC order is done. So it could be awhile....

I'm using these as the fracs because I realized that none of my drunken friends could even tell that these say "ONE DOLLAR" on them. But I think they look really nice.

Definitely hold on to them than turn them in for face value.

I did a quick search online too and didn’t find anything. Could they just be having the chips coexist? Golden Nugget has like 3-4 different types of chips for a single denom and they’re all live.
