Wanted Eldorado $5s...and $100s!!! (1 Viewer)

So after getting some great advice from @Godzilla28, I have decided to split my Cali set into two, making one high roller set and the other a low stakes set. Since I love my Eldorado chips and already had $1s and $25s, I figured making a low stakes Eldorado set would be the way to go. Picked up two racks of Eldorado fracs (thanks @The Nuts) and I’m almost there.

So all I have left to gather is two racks of $5s (well technically...199) and a barrel of $100s (yeah, yeah...I know). Looking for same, used condition as what I already have.

So if you have some Eldorado $5s you bought for a project that never came to fruition, and are just sitting around and taking up space, I’ll be happy to help you clear up that space and put some cash into your pocket.

As I said...I know the hundos are a stretch and I most likely will have to go hunting for these. I'm happy to build the barrel though, so if you have a couple or even one please let me know. What I'm looking to achieve:

I actually lucked into them. Bought them 15+ years ago. Someone was selling one online and I contacted them to see if they had any more. They ended up having 150+ so I took a rack. Still regret not taking the rest and have never seen them in quantities like that ever again.

I’ve collected Eldorados for years. I have a few, but I’ve never seen them in quantity. Most sellers want too much when I have found them. Very nice score.

If you can't find any yellow 5s, a suggestion is to buy these orange 5s and mill and/or relabel them into Eldorado $5s.

Yeah...probably have to put these racks and barrels together chip by chip. Was definitely thinking of milling a substitute in the interim.

Thanks for the suggestion. I saw these for sale but it was before I decided to build this set so it wasn’t even on my radar. These are definitely a contender. They are a nice fit and really clean up nicely.

So I picked up some Hi Desert $2s (thanks @AWenger for the suggestion and @jeff123 for the chips) that I will try my hand in milling and labeling while waiting for my pm's to blow up with offers on the real deal. If you've got Eldorado 5s...please save these poor Hi Deserts from their demise.

So the Hi Deserts have arrived and should work perfect for this set...

...although I'd really prefer to keep the lineup original with Eldorado $5s. Items to mill with are en route. Any original $5s out there? All I need is 2 racks...

There’s some out there. I have 120 fives but I’ve got plans for them (unless I can find another yellow chip to replace them). Good luck with your search!
