Hey everyone! This is a guide on how to install a drawer to a barrington foldable poker table (or any foldable table) for under $75. With this mod you can still fold the table as usual for storage. You only need a screwdriver (electric preferred) and these things from amazon:

1) this specific 16in drawer (Amazon Drawer) (the pwr one isn't necessary)

2) 40lbs Neodymium Magnets 10pcs(Amazon Magnets)

It’s super simple as all you really need to do is screw the magnets under the table like this. Just make sure that the magnets align with the drawer sliders by marking it with a sharpie:

The magnets are super strong and should be able to hold 4 racks of chips easily. If you want stronger magnets there are stronger options but I found the 40lbs is more than enough. After the magnets are installed, just attach the sliders for the drawer to the magnets and you’re done! For a better and more flush look, push the sliding part of the drawer all the way to the end and have the actual drawer be on the outside of the wall like this:

The drawer itself can hold up to 4 racks of chips and still have some wiggle room. This is super convenient as I can take chips out from this drawer for rebuys, store cash, etc. The best part of this is that it really only takes away about two inches of space between your legs and table (i have a friend who’s 6’4 230lbs and he can sit under the table fine with our chairs).

After you’re done having a good poker session, you can just pull off the drawer (with the sliders connected) and set it aside. This way you can fold up your table like normal. You’ll find that taking the actual drawer off from the table will take some force as the magnets work very well.

Hopefully this is helpful for anyone looking to install a drawer for cheap without having to lose the best part about the table! Here are some more pictures of what it looks like if anyone needs:

Wow, thanks for this! Great idea. I've been toying with adding something like this. Now that you've made it simple and shown me the steps, it'll still take me a year to do (like the cupholders) but I'm interested.

I absolutely love this. Simple, affordable, and practical. When I get a barrington, this will be one of the first upgrades along with cup holders. The fact that you can put this in any seat position is fantastic. Well done good sir!
