Do you use a card guard? (4 Viewers)

Always! Even if it's just a chip from my stack.

Yeah, I do. Unguarded hands really make things harder as a dealer. Much easier to keep track of who is in the hand if they're all clearly guarded.

All it takes is one dealer accidentally mucking your big hand and costing you a pot because you didn't protect your hand to make you a card capper for life.

Feel naked without card guard... It really distracts me if I don't use one. I have some behaviour patterns which must be followed....

I never do. I never let go of my cards from the time I get them to when I muck them. I put my fingers on either side on my left hand flat on the table (and I'm usually shuffling with my right hand). I don't think I give anything away, like shake tells or anything like that, so this generally works for me.

FYI you have more of your pinky over your cards when you're bluffing :D

You could be so lucky! Busto has prolly cost me more $ than the cursed lil green deuce has cost you lol.

I'm card guard challenged. Busto usually just stares maniacally at other players with his back against my cupholder. I use a chip in an airtite sometimes for a card capper but not consistently even when it's on the table. I tend to not want to cap cards then uncap to fold, so I usually do the berg claw. Maybe it's just easier not to fold.

I do.
When I don't have one on hand, I often use a chip from my stack.
however, I don't systematically place it on my cards, having my opponents wondering why.

I've never personally used one. I tend to keep my hands on my cards. I'm really thinking about getting one though. I'd like to get one like another poster mentioned earlier a nice retro LV casino chip in a holder. I feel like that would be something different.

I've tried to use one. Seems like it's just extra hassle. So I don't use one. I just hold my cards in my fingertips as flat as I can.

Yes, but my Gengar has been sequestered by one "detroitdad" who's asking for a hefty ransom for his release...
