Do you prefer white or black inlays? (1 Viewer)

I know black inlays have been all the rage for a while but try as I might, I just can't get into them.

I bought some Jacks because I love the colors and well, new Paulsons (duh), but I haven't been able to bond with them.
The only chips I've ever fallen in love with a black inlay was on @AK Chip's Aurora Club set. It was perfect!

I like variety and certain themes lend themselves better to inlays that are black, white, aged, colour matched, etc. As for the recent Jack chips, the inlays are very uninspired and I don't think it would matter what colour they were. It's hard to connect with something if it doesn't tell a story or evoke an emotional response... the Jack inlays do neither.

For me, the edge goes to white inlays. Usually because on text-heavy inlays, text on white shows up MUCH better than text on black.

White for me too by a big margin... I own 3,000 chips and 3,000 of them have white inlays...

I prefer black/dark inlays for the most part, but white inlays look better on white chips.
