Regarding the $2 per chip comment please note there is an auction on this site with a current bid of $17 per $500 PCA chip. Guess there are always exceptions to the “rule of thumb”

PCAs are not "fantasy chips", and the upper denominations were not made in arbitrarily huge numbers as they can be for fantasy sets or tournament sets.
