the crazy part is his is definitely cleaner than mine. I’ve never cleaned mine at all but I’ve had zero issues in like 5 years. Gets about the same amount of use as his but he’s just been constantly opening his up to see what’s going on and cleaned it when he’s done that. I’ve just lived by the if it ain’t broke don’t fix it mentality lol.

I'm a preventive maintenance guy. I want it working at its peak. I want it to sound smooth and nothing squeaky.

found a large amount of hair around one of the roller bars. Used tweezers and was able to get that out

Thanks for sharing this. I looked at mine and also had a small amount of hair in the same spot. DM1 seems to be functioning much smoother since removing.

Hello, I have a Deckmate 1 I recently purchased. I do have some experience operating these machines but not so much maintaining them. I am trying to calibrate the machine through auto setup. Where do I find the password required to make changes in the settings menu? Any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated!

I appreciate the info. Maybe the rollers need adjusted. I tried to attach a video here of what I am experiencing, but can’t seem to. I put a description of the issue below. Auto setup didn’t help. The issue is intermittent. Red lights maybe 20-40 times in a 6-7 hour session of continuous cycles.

Put cards into shuffler-lid closes-red light immediately “remove feeder cards”
Take them out, put them back in. It works fine.

Anyone located in the mid Atlantic that wants to service this machine from time to time?

Thanks again. You can fast forward through the first 45 seconds. It happens once the first cycle ends and I put the cards back in.

How new is the DM? Whom ever you bought it from should replace it for you since you just got it. If you read through the thread there are some links to buy the parts to make it or you can send me a PM to buy one.
