The guy only has a 2 star rating and has bad communication. Might be worth it if you can get a hold of this for the price. Even if it doesn't work it still might be well worth it to buy it and fix it up.

I will never play in a home game with a deck mate two because they can be used to stack decks. Literally the device can put decks in whatever order you tell them, making cheating extremely easy.

Can a deckmate 2 be hacked? Yeah, but it isn't easy as just uploading code you find on google. There is a high level of knowledge required to do this. If a house game is going to cheat they will cheat regardless of a DM2 or not. Slight of hand dealing, hidden cameras, marked cards, or even RFID cards with table readers. If the host/home game is going to cheat they will cheat but the notion should be you don't trust the host or home game you choose to play at not on the basis because they have a DM2.

I guess this is a fair point. But the bottom line is that if you’re worried about getting cheated, you shouldn’t be playing at home games at all. And you certainly shouldn’t try to pay $750 for a deckmate 2.
