Yep, looks like someone silently restored a backup behind the scenes.

The site looks fine now. @David Spragg If you didn't do anything maybe the host detected it and restored a backup?

Looks like it redirected to one of my other sites lol

The hoster did actually email me some weeks ago indicating that all virtual server boxes were being moved to a more secure platform "sometime between 2nd & 4th May" and during that time there may be unpredictable results until the new boxes were rebooted. I'd completely forgotten about that. Has they been able to give a precise time I would have taken things off line.
Maybe someone hacked the old location before any DNS changes had propagated.

Thanks for that, I've changed passwords on accounts linked to the same email address, just to be safe.

I've once had to give an account to a colleague when leaving the company. Of course I changed the password to "DerTypDerBeiDerFirmaDasPasswortEintipptIstEintipptIstEinGanzBlöderPenner", which roughly translated to "TheGuyThatTypesThePasswordsAtThisCompanyIsAStupidIdiot". Guess he changed that pretty quickly.
