CPC Move Updates (91 Viewers)

Each plate has 20 or 25 cups in it.

Whatever you think a single cup out of hardened steel or some other high strength alloy costs, multiply by 20. Then double it for the plate itself, the fittings, drillling, and tapping. Thats ballpark for a new one.

Theoretically you can replace a few cups at a time. Ain’t nobody got time for that.
Isn't the cited cost usually mostly attributable to the creation of the new hob out of the (relatively) much much harder steel? I thought the cups and the rest of it aren't as expensive. I think you know more though, just curious

I always wondered if it was possible yo set up one of those robotic arms to do cutouts and edge spots. I'm sure it be totally possible but prohibitively expensive to set up.

Hello everyone,

I wanted to provide another update on our progress.

We're happy to report that we are up and running and actively working on our current orders. It's been a long road getting everything operational, and we sincerely appreciate the patience and support everyone has shown throughout the process.

At this time, our team and resources are fully focused on completing existing orders as efficiently and responsibly as possible. Our goal is to continue making steady progress while maintaining the quality and service standards our customers expect.

We anticipate being ready to begin accepting new orders within the next couple of weeks. Once we are prepared to do so, we will make an announcement and provide additional details.

In the meantime, we respectfully ask that customers refrain from emailing or contacting us to place new orders before we are officially ready to accept them. While we understand the excitement and interest, our current focus needs to remain on fulfilling existing commitments and ensuring a smooth transition back to full operations.

Thank you again for your continued patience, understanding, and support. We're excited to be moving forward and look forward to serving both our current and future customers.

Yours truly,

Classic_Giraffe
That yellow pops! Are we FINALLY getting a royal blue? 🤞

Don't be so mean. I wish them success and prosperity regardless. And for us—low prices. Even under the previous owners, people waited a very long time for their chips, even during normal operations...

Yes hopefully we won't be priced out now since the new owners might want to re-coup their expenses during this year (with no income) faster..

This is what I'm afraid of. I fear there is going to be a huge price spike. I would love a CPC set, but if it jumps up too much more I'm priced out. I'm not buying at the same price as aftermarket paulsons.

CPC are on average above the cost of aftermarket paulsons already (at least most RHC).

My sets cost on average ~$5-6 per chip. For sure could do cheaper… but would sacrifice things that make CPC great (shaped inlays, certain molds, higher level spots, dayglos).

"I want better colors! I want way better communication! Those spots look funky, why not more consistency? The wait time is too long, I need chips quicker! They need to update the cups because they don't have the same texture anymore. Why can't they create new molds? Oh, I forgot: I want the price to be way, way lower also, they are charging too much" -PCF

You forgot the shitty website. That upgrade is going to have to cost CPC at least $50.

I was thinking of the $10/chip sets. CPC is expensive but it is a boutique item. That said, if they end up with Tiger Palace or ES prices then they become a hard pass.

I totally agree - so much whining and bitching. I wouldn’t want to do business with most of these people. Get over it!

Is amazing what some of the recent AI models can do with web development (sloppy in many areas, but a pretty powerful tool here). Literally 10 minutes to make this (from a few prompts and picture examples). Know a new site is on Mike's agenda though!

"Hmm, that set pictured under "Custom Chips" is nice. Maybe I can just make that as my custom chips."

You know what? I love the old website. I never once said anything bad about it, ever.

I nominate @Cratty for website design and @NotRealNameNoSir as senior marketing analyst.

My fee is two free 1500 chip custom sets with high degree spot patterns, shaped inlays and dayglo colors included to be made in the near future. Thank you.
lmao that's the extent of my marketing. Classic Jersey guy pointing his finger, "EY! You know what you should do? Sell it to more people. That'll get 'em."
