CPC Move Updates (140 Viewers)

Given how the communication has gone to date, whoever does reach out, please post an update here. I think having one or two people reach out via email with this type of inquiry would be more effective than 30 people bombarding them with the same question.
I sent a message about an hour ago, also mentioning that I could share any information on the mold schedule here, with permission from Mike. If I receive a positive answer and some information, I'm happy to share that here as soon as possible.

Maybe some of the upgrades make the colors less contaminated? The old shop and parts were lookin pretty rough. Maybe Canary is (and maybe day glows) less dirty.

Nice to see a batch of chips before the mold imprints : )

But the spots look a bit unconsistant to me…?!

I haven't yet ordered a CPC set, is this mid process? The edges look messier than I expected with that line in the middle, maybe that just goes away with play? Thanks for any clarification. Mold itself looks great.

I think it's very cool to see these in progress pictures of the chips being made. First time for me.

I suddenly have a huge craving for sugar cookies too..

You can still see (and know) it‘s handcrafted, even with ‚cleaner‘ spots.
The punch out tool doesn‘t change shape…!
It doesn't. But someone probably needs to put new clay inside. Unless you prefer to keep the holes instead, that way they will be perfect! At least until the clay is pressed.

(if you're just trolling, my mistake, it's hard to read)

The chips have not been ground down. Those lines are flashing left from the mold split. They put them in a very expensive grinder (it broke down once and crippled their output) and rotate them against a grinding wheel until they are the perfect diameter.

Other companies do it differently, employing lathes for example.

Edit to add that this also seems to be a bottleneck for production. Chips will sit for days or longer waiting to be finished in the old facility. They may have improved this part of the process, who knows?

Wait... are those 3 molds running at the same time?
I was wondering about this, too. There are photos of multiple molds, which (I assume) means that either they have the ability to produce multiple molds simultaneously, or they have completed all orders on certain molds and have moved on to the next in line. But we haven't heard anything about shipping/deliveries/etc. But I know literally nothing, so don't mind me.

It‘s just on the green 25s the spots look somehow like AI generated ; )
The others look cool!
Especially these yellow ones look really nice on the pics.
I guess it‘s (a new) DG Yellow? If the more pastel yellow is canary?
Hard to say on pics…
