Hey all,

I'm looking to sell my CPC Rounders set. Its about a year old, has only been used a handful of times. I would say the chips are in excellent condition. Attached are photographs taken today.

Breakdown is as follows:
25 bounty (43mm CA Rounders bounty chips from BRPRO)
20 - $5,000
101 -$1,000
122 - $500
202 - $100
202 - $25

That's 647 CPC chips plus the additional 25 bounty chips.

Total price is $960. Not willing to split. US only, buyer pays shipping. This is my first time making a sale here and I'd like to make it as pain free as possible lol. If you have questions or want more photographs feel free to PM me. I am absolutely not looking to trade for anything. Thanks for looking. Onward to my custom CPC tourney set that just arrived! EDIT: racks not included :(

I would take a half set if you decide to split.

Seriously considering these.
What size starting stacks were you using?

I think this breakdown was intented for 25 players

8xT25
8xT100
4xT500
2xT1000

start stack 5000 (blinds start 25/50 for 100BB or 25/25 for 200BB)

You can add 1 5K chip for 10000 start stack if you have 20 players or less

And with this set, you could add 40 more 5k chips from CPC to have a 20-25 player tourney with 10k starting stacks.
This is a great set and a very good deal.
GLWS!

My group is pretty inexperienced and they love having a lot of chips on the table. We would usually go 12/12/7/5 10k stacks :)
Inexperienced... yet the perfect starting stack! Lol

Many of us run that exact same starting structure, a few say it is too many T500s they run 12/12/5/6... but potato/potatto. Long as its 12/12!

Personally give me 16/16/6/5... more chippies for purdy stacks! Well... for everyone else at the table! Haha

Seriously scratching my head on how this wasn't already purchased! GLWS @megarises

Oh yeah I’ve definitely brought out the 16/16/6/5 when we have a lower attendance rate, who am I kidding I love more chips on the table too. I was always in awe watching the WSOP from the 2003-2005 years as a teenager with the amount of chips those guys had at the final table.

I have the same Rounders set and we actually start with 20/20/3/1 for a $5k stack. Needless to say, my group also loves stacks. :)

@10centguitar - CPC should also have everything in stock if you want to do a small add on for this set. Only the $5s and $0.50 are currently out of stock. They ship within a few days when in stock.

Grrrrr. I really want this set. I've always wanted a rounders set. But I have like eight sets of chips and two beautiful tables and nobody to play with. It just seems like it's impossible to get a game together anymore. 5 years ago we played twice a week. Now I have to beg and I haven't had anyone in months. Ugh

I'm living in this exact same hell. No game in sight. Two tables (one very expensive Chanman custom with only 2 games played) and 10 poker chip sets. It's pretty messed up! I feel what you feel my friend! Right here with ya

I feel both your pain, the friends who helped build my love of poker and chips just aren’t enthusiasts anymore. I don’t have a game to go to anymore, I’ve considered searching one out, but it’s hard to find a game that’s just about fellowship and isn't primarily a money grind. I’m all about grinding, but I really just want a weekly game where I can shoot the shit with the same people and just hang. If I wanted to grind I’d just go to the casino.

I even built two separate sets. One for $0.25 $0.50 blinds and one for $0.50 $1 blinds. I also have $1 $2 sets or they could be $1 $3 $2 $5 whatever. And I have two tournament sets. I can't play for five and 10 cents. I mean I love playing poker but there has to be something more to it lol. I offer the micro stakes of 25 cent 50 cent and I offer tournaments with as little as a $20 buy-in and rebuys and I still can't get anybody. You think with all that dirty covid money floating around people would want to play

I know right?! I was just trying to rekindle poker interest with some old buddies, and the way they talked about the “old days” you’d think I was suggesting we all go drop acid and run through the woods or something. Everyone thinks it’s a great idea until you try and nail down a game, and then suddenly it’s “oh I don’t know”. Meanwhile fishing and golf have a 100% acceptance rate

I mean I don't have the best of the best chips. But they're way better than dice chips. I have a set of milanos, a set of dunes China clay, a huge set of majestics, a set of unicorn chips, a set of Roman times, a set of BR pro poker Dia de Los Muertos and I even bought a set of jack casino chips during the sale plus a few other miscellaneous low insets like outlaw poker

Yeah that's usually what happens when they lose their sacks lol. Whether it be through marriage or a girlfriend or just complacency I guess

Sorry autocorrect. I meant low end sets not low in sets

Yeah so I basically have like 6,200 chips just sitting around. Although I am a weirdo and I like to just look at them and shuffle them. I'm one of those weird guys that the chips mean something to me when I play. I mean I can play with anything but the nice of the chip and the nicer the table it just seems to add an element to it

How many of you lose your minds (and my fiancé can attest to this) when you see a token “high stakes poker den” in a movie….and they are using dice chips….I lose it every time.

So, not to interrupt (further hijack) all this wistful remembrance of poker tables/chips/games of bygone days... you all should set up a meetup group. I did one for a year. At one point I had almost 100 members and I could fill two tables, any day of the week, with a single post, like selling a TRK set on PCF, on a Saturday for $1! That was like 10 years ago and I still now have 20 regulars that I play pretty often.... just saying. I'd jump on this if it were a cash set GLWS!

I think the closest PCF members to me are like an hour and a half away though, and according to the member map only 3 or so were in that area. I suppose there might be lots of non “mapped” people though. Although I’m 35-45 min from 2 different smaller size casinos, both with poker rooms. So poker people must be around here somewhere…

Same here, live the collection aspect of chipping and seeing sets on display. I have a home game of 21-24 players. I think only 2 or 3 of the players actually appreciate the quality and variety of chips.
