Color Code (1 Viewer)

Its probably in the ballpark of a true medium gray, I’d do 160/160/160 or A0A0A0 hex

If you print out a test, and compare next to the chip I can help fine tune

This is 160/160/160:

You will want to see it printed

My tips for color tweaking: first number is red, 2nd is green, 3rd is blue. They are in scale of 0 to 255 (or 00 to FF in the hex scale). Bigger number is brighter.
255 255 255 is white
0 0 0 is black
255 0 0 is fully saturated red
0 255 0 is fully saturated green
0 0 255 is fully saturated blue.

For your chip, if 160 160 160 is too light but the color looks good, just reduce them but keep it even (closer to black). 140 140 140. If you need to add a touch of blue, something like 140 140 150 If it needs to be yellower, 150 150 140. Play with the colors on google (just google “rgb 150 150 150) but you really need to print to compare to the chip.

@toynoob I made a sample sheet so you can print multiple shades at once for comparison. Maybe fit the sample sheet to fit a full page and you can just move the chip on top of each color sample. If you haven’t already, clean 1 chip to the best of your ability and use that. I threw in one labeled 126 as I saw somehwere that particular shade should be a close match.

Thanks!

I printed these an agree its somewhere between the 140-150 groupings. My printer and my eyes are probably not good enough to nail it down beyond that.
