Circus Games - More Action Games vs. Less Action Games (1 Viewer)

Hmmmm

I think Icelandic Scarney with 7 card board should be moved to ‘some action’

My opinion has always been that if people played circus games "correctly," they would almost always fit into the Less Action category.

But, that's not why we go to home games and meetups.

i think the ones that cause more action are the ones where coolers are more likely accordingly. in other games, i feel more hands are foldable preflop than in PLO.

A pretty good litmus test is Matt and I at the same table. If the pots are small, the game is sorta polarized with smash or miss type hand structure and it’s not an action game.

6 card bum bum high/low is the the biggest action and cooler game out there. Matt even enjoyed playing that limit at RIA3.

Always table dynamic.

We can make Holdem fun too but takes more work

table dynamic matters. im stsrting to feel NLHE plays more swingy than 4card PLO with the right dynamic.

Only time I see action Holdem is when bored PLO players are waiting for a seat to open so they wait it out at 1/2 Holdem table

Well I guess only time I see it is because the player waiting for the PLo table is me.
