I'm so glad you've found it useful!

Right now, the workflow for using Chipmatic to manufacture designs is to order through Justin/Broken Arrow. He has access to the production-ready art files (without watermarks). I’ve set it up this way because orders placed through Broken Arrow provide financial support to me for the ongoing development and maintenance of the project.

If ordering though Justin doesn't work for you for some reason (like perhaps you're outside of his shipping area), send me a DM and I'm happy to try to work things out in a way that would work for you while still keeping things sustainable on my end.
Your most recent update (smooth mold option) was so timely and perfect. I've spent time creating templates for the inlays on canva and would be happy to share that with you if you would like to incorporate it into your software!

Yea Broken Arrow doesnt work for me because I'm in Singapore :) I'll definitely send you a dm when I can (new account, no DM privileges)

Broken Arrow does work for you. We ship direct to any country in the world! @QuietMaple

I love this tool. So many new ideas.

I have one question (or perhaps suggestion). Is there a way to add text onto an Image Upload inlay? I'm trying to figure out how to add denoms to my chips, and I can edit the original image, but all of the chips use the same image for their inlay, so putting in denoms before uploading won't work. I see where text is available for a template inlay, but then I can't include my image. Maybe I'm missing something obvious.

You can upload a separate image for each chip.

As ballefrans pointed out, you can upload unique image for each chip. But I like the idea of adding a feature for text overlays on image uploads!

I really need to organize a proper backlog of features... there are so many good ideas out there!

QuietMaple updated Chipmatic Studio (a poker chip design tool) with a new update entry:

Added preset color palettes for simple color selection

You can now quickly select colors from a grid of swatches instead of using the system color picker. This makes it even easier to build chips quickly. The full featured RGB/HSB sliders are still available when you want to tweak things further. The preset palettes include some of the poker chip community's favorite colors. (Please note that palettes aren't available on mobile at this time, but I do hope to implement it there in the future).

I just mocked up some chips and picked out the colours by eye without the aid of a label. When I crossed referenced the HEX codes I was pleasantly surprised that I managed to pick the right ones. I'm more of a chip nerd than I gave myself credit for.

QuietMaple updated Chipmatic Studio (a poker chip design tool) with a new update entry:

Added 43mm Web Mold

You can now select the 43mm web mold! Art asset generation and gallery images are all compatible with this new mold size. You could also design chips with this mode for the 43mm Jester mold because it has the same label size (but you'll need to use your imagination for the jester hats for now :) )

This one was rather challenging due to the base chip size being different and the fact that I had hard coded "39" into the code in many places, so I'm very satisfied to get this one released...

Best to throw up some pictures rather than I try and describe it

I don't have any action shots of the Jester mold or Sun Mold

Added one not currently public mold
Those look awesome, how’d you get the top hat and cane mold? It’s not on the chipmatic tool?!

Top hat and cane is not in Chipmatic. Maybe I'll add it eventually, but my first priority are the molds available from Broken Arrow group buys. I'll probably do Sun Mold next.

Hey QuietMaple! First off. HUGE FAN. You are crushing it and I am so excited to be playing around with Chipmatic!

Quick ask. Is there any way to request for Spot Type: Pie the option to mess with the Inset Setting? Spot Type: Circle has one that exists!

Mainly, I want to keep the edges the way they are in my design but add a concentric circle that will be printed on the chip face. Thanks so much!

Good idea! Yes that should be pretty easy to add. I'll look into adding that feature this weekend. Stay tuned.

You rock! Thanks! We'll see if the end product translates to what my buddy is requesting but either way, I think it'll just open the creative door for some interesting (and questionable) designs haha!

Hi @QuietMaple, thanks so much for your work on this awesome tool. Is there any chance you've considered adding the option to save/load designs to/from a file (say JSON), so that designers can work across multiple sessions without worrying about losing their work? I believe this would also facilitate editing from snapshots, if that's desired.

Thanks for the suggestion. Yes that's definitely something I've considered and I'll probably add it in the not too distant future. As I'm sure you've noticed, designs are saved in the browser's local storage, but I agree it can instill more confidence to have the files downloaded on your own file system.

I have a backlog of 22 different enhancements/fixes/etc. right now, so just a question of prioritization :)

hey guys been away from the hobby for a few years. i see so much has changed this tool is amazing. Great work! i see things have come a long way. here is my question. once designed and saved, are the saved files in the right file format for tina to print or do we have have to upload to a different design tool for the proper file extension ?

I'm glad you like the tool! Chipmatic generates ready-to-print vector files. All you need to do is click the "Share" link to generate a unique url for your design, and then share that link with Justin of Broken Arrow Cardroom Supply here on the forums. Justin has special access to be able to download the vector art files and share them with Tina.

Amazing. Thanks for the quick response, looking forward to creating with it. You made my job way esier...What an amazing tool you created for everyone. Your a stand up guy taking on this kind of undertaking. Congratulations its incredible 👌

First off, THANK YOU!! This is such a cool tool and I've been playing around with it a bunch the last couple of days!!

However, it keeps crashing on safari for me, claiming there's a memory issue. (I have a newer MBP with 48gb ram and don't have many other tabs/windows/programs open so there should be NO problems.)

Anyone else running into this? I get to about my 6th chip in a set and it starts bugging out and then crashes. Not sure what's up. A memory leak or something? I haven't tried other browsers which is my next step, but I just lost about 90 minutes of work.

Lemme know if anyone else has experienced this or if I'm perhaps doing something wrong. Thanks!! :)

Darn, I'm sorry to hear you're having that issue. When you reloaded the page, your work was gone? It should be saving to local storage in real time as you make changes, so in most cases your work should still be there after a crash. I haven't tested in Safari, but I have been developing on a Mac, so I can do some testing there. You could try Firefox for the time being, which is the browser I've been doing most of my dev work in.

Unfortunately after doing some troubleshooting and looking up the problem online, the only way to get the page to open again is to clear the cache, and my work goes with it.

I'll jump over to Firefox tomorrow. For tonight I'm going to have some fun staying on safari but switching to my other Mac which has 128 gigs of ram and seeing if I can get it to crash on me :)

It's such a great tool, I know I lost some work, but if I'm being totally honest, I'd say more than half of that time spent was just spent continuing to learn how to use it. You really did a heck of a job with it!! :) Thanks again!!
