Filtering more broadly might be interesting too (example: Canada, or Europe in general, vs. specific provinces or European countries)

Well, this was an interesting read. Not surprised but disappointed given that many of us have contributed the images that appear on that site assuming it was free an open access for all.

I have more I planned to contribute but not now. If a new site is to be created, hit me up. I somehow have a shitload of chips.

Looks like this is no longer a case, despite what was suggested earlier. I just went to the map and was quickly sent to a page that said "logon required".

All of the drop down menus are grayed out except for items in the membership services section.

I just tried the website for the first time in months. I've been out of the singles game all year. This statement here is true. An average user just stopping by can't get to any list or chip image at all.

Having your website being unavailable when seeing 5x your normal traffic, for a website this basic with the number of usual visitors you have, isn’t a DDoS.

Stop hosting this on an eMachine in your mom’s closet with a 80386 processor on Windows 95 and you’ll find that your traffic can actually scale.
