Will not be able to do the things below in red unless you belong to CCA and have a login:

It’s super important to make the chip mold guide a pay feature! It would be a shame if someone cloned that page elsewhere. :sneaky:

It’s not even clear how you sign up if you wanted to. LMFAO. This used to be a really useful site and now it’s a fucking Greek tragedy. Who runs the CCA? The guy that drove Chiptalk into terra firma? LOLOLOLOL.

you have to download this form, fill it out, scan it, print the scanned copy, sign it, re-scan it, re-print it, and mail it to them with a check (ROFL)

^ this is also the same group that is going to troubleshoot and defeat a multi-day distributed denial of service attack.

This is going to be fascinating. It’s like space travel but you’re in a semi-hermetically sealed 1986 Volvo S50.

That site has some pretty snooty members. They seem to be the 'collect one chip' type.

I posted some pics many years ago of some rare Nevada mold chips that I had hot stamped. Of course, many went nuts saying I ruined the chips by stamping them lol.

Don't get me started on their awful interface that seems like it was frozen in time during the 90's.

Going to the CCA show was an exercise in elderly OCD. It was kinda awkward walking around and asking about certain chips I wanted (until I got to Spinnetti’s booth where I spent the vast majority of my money).

Sad, really how they’ve destroyed their brand. I would have been happy to throw some money their way a couple years ago, when I was a huge user. Add a donate button and boom- sent. I actually provided them some info to fill in some missing info. Now I regret it. Not how to build loyalty, especially as a 501c3
